Just got back from this years NW Tractor Show which is held at Myerscough Agricultural College just off the A6 between Preston and Lancaster, it is also on tomorrow (Sunday) if you feel the need to visit.

I had the trusty camera with me and I took 156 photos  :o :o :o :o :o Obviously I'm not going to post them all but hopefully this will give you a taster. If I work out how to do it I will post a link to the Photobucket album with them all in just in case you need any more.

For starters there was an auction today, there were over 600 lots and whilst some were piles of rust there were some interesting lots

Nice old Fergie, made £800 I think

David Brown, not sure what model, may be a 770

MF65, reached £2600 but vendor refused to sell at that price

Tractors027.jpg

DB VAK1 sold for £2400

IH B250 made £800

View from the seat of a DB VAK1, if I ever get a tractor Mrs R wants one of these, firstly she liked the colour and secondly it had two seats

SFV, the exhaust dominates the entire tractor

Finally a picture poser, what is this implement for? It was made by Ferguson for a specialised application and I have never seen one before, Marky have you got a brochure?

Hopefully this is a link to the full album if you want to see the rest

Ian "Agrium" Tractor sketch was there as well, tried to get Mrs R to buy me one but she said I will have to wait for Santa  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Tractors164.jpg

This Fergie had a load of rosettes but I didn't think the colour looked right, it had a brownish tinge to it :-\ :-\ :-\

Lovely photographs Mike, some very nice restorations there, the Roadless machines and Trevor Chippendale's MF 595 look the business, and that IH 955 looks immaculate too. Some amazing work on the dioramas especially "Starbrush's" potato harvesting scene really like the look of that aswell as the quarrying scene, that's got my Dad staring over my shoulder, impressive stuff.
