PDC
I have just finished this conversion for another forum member. This is the first 7740 2wd i've attempted and it's quite a mish-mash of parts but i'm pleased with the end result.

Deere-est
Paul, the 40 series to me is like many older tractors are to our older members here. It epitomises a big tractor to which I first spent many hours in and never really appreciated. Now, 13yrs down the line and I can't love them enough. Put a 17yo in a Fendt and he thinks he's Gods gift. Put me in a 40 series 6cyl and I think I am God!! You really have nailed those 4cyl models and I think we need to talk business These are the models I want on my shelf but know I can't rely on a manufacturer for. Is it the standard UH wieght hanger because even that looks right!

SPN
I'll be 'avin' one of those Mr C. We use one under the silage harvester. Has the weight frame and all. Would look better with ERTL JD6400 back wheels though.
