ihatepoundland
You probably already know this, but shouldn't the bonnet be longer on a 1000?
PDC
I got sent home early from work today due to a lack of work so I thought i'd finish my MB Trac
PDC
It is based on a Siku MB Trac 800 chassis with a resin cab and bonnet which I used to fit to my forward control sprayers I made a few years ago.
PDC
I needed a front grill and found that the Siku MB Trac 1800 grill was spot on but this left me with a perfectly good tractor without a grill : A quick call to Henri Walker got me a replacement Britains MB Trac 1500 bonnet top/grill and a set of 1500 decals Now I have a Siku MB Trac 1500
PDC
You probably already know this, but shouldn't the bonnet be longer on a 1000? Yes I suppose it really should be badged as a 800 or 900 Turbo but I had the 1000 decals to hand and it will only live in my cabinet now :
archbarch
Great looking 800 The 1000 does bare more resemblance to a 800 not just bonnett length but the cab height aswell.
PDC
I have now modified a UH Stoll loader to go on the back of my 1500, next up I will remove the interior and try to fit a Britains reverse drive consol
PDC
Here's the UH Stoll loader showing what i've done to make it fit the MB Trac

PDC
The rear plateform has two pins for the loader to sit under and the bar between the loader brackets at the front sits on the rear linkage ;)
PDC
Here she is ready for some loader work :D
MJB1
nice work paul , there's a considerable difference between the siku cab & britains cab no wonder the siku didn't lend itself to reverse drive ! the bigger wheels & tyres suit it no end but i wonder how much manuveability it's lost, blimey i'm making it sound like a real one \
