MJB1 Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 most of them are sat in hedges & brambles nowadays i used to ride on one when i was about 7-8-9 yrs old & it used to have a heavy dark green canvas tarp over it , got very hot havn't seen one for a few years now though. strange to think that we used to see them all over the place all the time & took no notice of them ,but now they've dissapeared it's almost like a holy grail that we find one again ,it would be good to see if there are any still working Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gav836 Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 I've managed to find an early MF catalogue with the potato harvester in it, it gives all of the sizes and requirements of the harvester. Catalogue contains all models of tractor, combines and implements available at the time, can't find the date on it anywhere but would guess late 60's/70's.
