James T
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ferguson-Tractor-Manual-Restoring-Well-known/dp/0857330101/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302022169&sr=8-1 Just in case anyone has missed this. I think the reviewer has got the wrong end of the crankshaft - these books (and I have several of the aircraft titles) are mostly lavishly illustrated hardbacks on the topic in question and not like the conventional Haynes manuals. I haven't seen this title, but would definitely have a look. BC
Haynes manuals....James... I have a collection ;) ....well at least two somewhere...one covering an 1983 Ford Escort 1.6L and one covering a 1985 1.8 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 SRI. Owned a 1956 TEF 20 Diesel as well but no Haynes but have other manuals for it still...well somewhere ;)
powerrabbit
It says in on the Amazon page that it is released on April 11th, that's next week so no-one will have a copy as yet I suspect. Over the years, and especially in more recent years there have been literally dozens of books published about the T20 series tractors but surprisingly few on the actual mechanical side concerning service and repair of which the author has obviously picked up on. I am glad that the title of this manual includes the word 'basic', a word that has been missing from the other titles that they have produced over the years for the motor vehicles they have covered as they are just that, basic. I expect it will sell in its thousands.
