sparrow legs Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 the 6/7/8 at the front are the series, then the rated horse power ie 260 then the R stands for rowcrop and in the case of the crawlers there RT T been for track so a 7260r would be a 7 series rowcrop of 260 hp. MODELFARMER Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 the reason in the design of the bonnet so high on these models is to accomodate the filtersystems for the exhausts emmsiions and the extra cooling equipment to keep the engine tempertaure correct, if they had used add blue they would not be so big, i believe the new case puma range like gav has is something simliar at current below the bonnet is a huge space, but when they go tier 3b then all that space gonna be used up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
