ertlerik Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Monday I went on a bus tour with my dad to the Agco factory, we had a super time. Johny and Eline thank you for the very well organized trip Here are the pictures, no pictures from inside the factory, no camera allowed Quote
Niels Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Nice pictures. Shame you didn't have a bit nicer weather. It seems that nearly every factory has a large 2wd shunting tractor around! Interesting to see that 3650. Quote
ertlerik Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 Trying one, this would be a nice one to have on the farm Dad seems to like it as well The Johny MF special And I had to have some thing from the gift shop That is all folks Quote
BC Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Nice looking trip to go on Erik and good to see some of the early tractors as well. I must say I have never seen a Ferguson Brown model with rear wings like that before. Quote
Johny mf Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Glad you liked the tirp mate Seems you have the prototype 7600 on the photo!! What a beauty that where! Quote
Lord Ferguson Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Lovely images Erik thanks for sharing. Strangely .... MF don't sell many 6445's over here... But they are really popular in France and beyond. Surprised to see they still have the 6480 on show... Especially as she's got a black skid unit Quote
Massey Boy Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Very good pictures, looks well worth a visit! Whats going on with the wheels of the one furthest right in this picture? Quote
Johny mf Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Ow forgot i see Jan MF next to the 3080 he also where whit us on the trip! The wheels of that tractor are only on the tractor because it went to the American market! When it arive´s at the dealer it get´s it right wheels the tourguide told me! Quote

Massey Boy Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Now i look twice youre right i think he mis understood me and thougt i where talking about the dual wheels for the American version(2nd one!) Yeah most properly, but then it must still be on the lines of they swap them as i wouldn't be happy if i orded one and it turned up with them on there Quote
Lord Ferguson Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 They are what the factory calls 'slave' wheels... They will be swapped for small wooden discs when it's on the lorry I reckon Quote
Johny mf Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 There can be a lot off reason why this tractor has these wheels on. I can think of one and that is: it could be placed on these temporary wheels for shipping it to the dealer. It can happen that one tractor more can be loaded on a truck whit adding these sort off wheels. Quote

Johny mf Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Yeah we where plesantly suprised! De Rooy has his company just 30km from where i live! He has a big plot whit all kinds of things on it if it has wheels! Also the man himself is well known in our area whit his entrance of the Dakar rally a true legend! He lives just acros the border in Belgium (i think same vilage as Jan MF lives) Quote
