Lady Ferguson
They're brilliant and sell allsorts of interesting stuff. I have a trade account with them and found them good to deal with. I think they're the main importer for Plastruct into the UK.

FendtFarmer
i use it for building farm models cos it is the right size, isnt stupidly big or small i used it in this project for doing the side and floor supports of the trailer http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,34345.msg717368.html#msg717368

FB
with EMA there is a minimum order, so the odd bit will be very expensive!!, i think it was £12 at one stage!?? use Mandy, you get service with a smile!!! ;)
Deere-est
I think the £12 included free postage but not any more. I have used EMA a lot and usually they despatch the same day if you order before 2pm I think it is.
alpinefocus
The best thing is to set up an account to order the plastic. they have to quote for postage when you order the plasticweld in the tins as it is classed as hazardous materials. Is Plasticweld different from the Plastruct Cement Glue, then, Dan?
Tractorman810
it is mandy its a clear liquid, water like infact, evaporates really quick if you leave the lid off, and knock it over, well it took a large bit out of my worktop in the shed and melted the container the zap a gap super glue was in, resulting in a real nice mess, but its worth that agro, its prob the best glue to use for items like i build, used properly you can get a nice weld like finish to joins, hence its name plasti weld
FendtFarmer
i created a account, then added stuff to my cart, then procedure to purchase it and got so far then i had to send off for a quote
Deere-est
The nice thing about Plastic Weld is you can use it to make plastic go soft and therfore it bends nicely. Applied with a brush, it cleans the brush each time too. Even after weeks of not using the brush. It's in 'Types of Glue and their uses' in the Hints and Tips topic

robertw1
I was looking at the E.M.A website and came across some what looked to me like the plating in the bottom of sheep trailers to give them grip and i wondered whether you could stock some on Holly Loves Toys website. I think I might have seen that type of plating in milking parlours because it is easy to wash but the cows still get grip. if it is the same plastic that my school use in there vacuum former then plastic weld works with it but I suspect it is a different plastic.
