blt
Petrol is getting very expensive. I use a Shrockenfux Austrian Scythe instead. Who needs a gym? Very tidy fleet what year is she an is it going to be green red or Blue

justy 46
TW-15 is a tidy little conversion Are you planning to replace the old Britains 7000 with a new Ford? Cheers . That TW15 was a Britains 5610 once imagine. Id say the 7000 would need to be replaced by a Volvo or JCB loader for the buckraking!! I have 2 # JOAL 435 loaders & the Britains Yellow logging loader that seems to be a Volvo lookalike. They need a bit of tidying & better wheels I plan to make buckrakes for them to complete this 90's era silage fleet some time soon.
Valley Axe Man
Grand looking fleet there Justy, have you plans for an engine-on chopper too? a Nh 717-719 or 525 with 6 cylinder on would look great and fill the gap between pto driven and self proppelled in the late 80s era? SPN
to start off jcb 8280 with jd 535 with grouper fendt 930 on jd 535 what do you think? I think the gearboxes in both mowers would be turned to metal filings within an hour or two. Have you considered running three gang mowers on both of these, or maybe putting Newfie T6020s under the JQ mowers?

Naaa. PTO driven. Ive never seen a trailed harvester in my neck of the woods worked from an independent engine. They never realy cought on in Ireland. Contractors just provied a tractor with 130+ HP to power the harvester's back then before they changed over to self proppelled. There is only 2 guys in my area using trailed harvesters these days with a Fiatagri F140 & a JD 6810 powering them. On another note ,im working on building a JCB 435 (JOAL model) with a buckrake for the pit to replace the little Ford 7000. JCB 410 & 435 loaders were a popular choice for contractors near me for backing up silage years ago,so it sould complement the fleet well when ready. justy 46
I used a 410 a couple of weeks ago good old girl I enjoyed driving her thought it was a good machine. There is still a few 410s on farms in my area going strong. Great machine alright. Nearly every contractor had one back 20 odd years ago for pushing up the silage. Popular choice they were. Now its 414 & 416s. Edited May 21, 2012 by justy

Valley Axe Man
Hi Justy, no the NH 2305 isn't one of my builds, it came to the Valley from Holland or Belgium by way of David Purdue (DBP Models) who i bought it off last October, David had the Grass header custom built by Brian O Reilly as the chopper came with maize head, that tucked away in storage just in case we get called upon at the back end to cut a bit o maize
