chris.watson
how do all. about 10 minutes up the road from me in essex, at Thaxted, is j brock and sons. they sell a huge range of second hand farm equipment, as well as new and used tyres and rims. i was over there today and took a few snaps of some of there older tractors they have for sale. i thought some fellow forum readers would enjoy them. i will update regularly when i am over there if anything interesting appears in their yard. some machines, as you will see, are in need of a little tlc, but some great horse-power from years gone by. Gav836
Not been there myself but my mate has and was in their office when his mobile rang followed by him blaspheming and swearing at the person on the other end resulting in some very dirty looks :ha ha!: They and one or two other well known machinery dealers are indeed Plymouth Brethryn but things have been relaxed in the past couple of years allowing them to run a website now in order to remain competative with other traders. And I don't mind keeping quiet for a bit about ******* and shouting ***** about. Should be done in more places than just Brocks

mf135
Great pictures and nice to see my old MF1200 again i bought and sold it some 10 years ago it had no linkage as it was used in a wood and had a Hiab on the rear of the tractor. I cut all the brush guards off as it look like something from a mad max film will have to see if i have the picture when i had it. Martyn.
chris.watson
Called in there there the other week, had a great chat with the guys. Nice collection of kit, sad they are concentrating on their machinery, not tractors anymore!!! hello howard. its quite a big outfit now at brocks. tractors dont play as bigger role these days due to fierce bidding at farm sales from farmers/contractors. brocks arnt the cheapest people around, but they do most definately stand by their gear. if you have a problem after a deal they are very helpfull to resolve any issues. another point howard, how much money must they have tied up in stock? it must run into millions with the tyre dept and all the machinery.
