She went to a dealer and I left him feedback saying 'thanks for buying Betty and hope she goes to a good home'. He responded 'Betty's doing well and she's passed her test'. Rick Posted December 17, 2009 Share Posted December 17, 2009 Well most of the laughing was by the doctor and my wife, I could only give a weak smile.... Got a little problem with Edema (fluid retetnion in the feet) just came on last week.....Ive never heard the word before. But anyway I had to go see a heart specialist to check my heart since this problem can be related to fluid around the heart...so we get into the patient room and the Dr. comes in and ask me "Why have you come to see me today" Well I normally speak very well but some words that I have never heard before I dont pronounce too well so I said, "I got a problem with "Enema".......Well the doctor looked startled, said, "Enema?? I'm a heart specalist I don't give Enemas, then started laughing while my wife was laughing at the same time......then she said, no dr he means "Edema" he just pronunced it wrong \ \ \ [ [ a bit embarrassing I have to say...
