IAINH1973
I got this ford for my christmas in 1980 or 81 as part of a box set. I found it along with some other Britains at my parents a while ago. The cab and wheels was beyond repair and exhaust and air cleaner missing. I have given it a full make over with paint, new decals and some UH 5000 wheels I had left over. After all these years you forget what a good model it was ! ">http:// ">http://

justy 46
That looks the part. UH 5000 rims really do set it off. Im planning to do a 5600 with that kind off idea in mind!
1972farming
Very nice , call me ols fashioned ,but I love the old Britains Fords. They can be restored back to original trim or you can modify them to the hilt. Yours looks really good on those wheels. Thanks for sharing. justy 46
I always tought the old Britains 6600 Delux cab looked better than the newer limited edition Britains 6600 Delux cab (not Q cab) which has a casting like a bannana . The newer Britains 5000 had the same problem. Very nice , call me ols fashioned ,but I love the old Britains Fords. They can be restored back to original trim or you can modify them to the hilt. Yours looks really good on those wheels. Thanks for sharing.
justy 46
Just have seen 2 sets of these UH 5000 rear wheels sell on EBAY for over £13 excluding postage. I was bidding on them myself for 2 convos I had planned . A 5600 & 4610. Gave up the bid after £10. Just goes to show these rims are gold dust for convos. IAINH1973
I wasted a set trying to respray them white. The primer would not take on the existing paint. You learn from your mistakes!
