Great pics Marcus......Too early to be planting tatties up here yet, will have to wait about a month yet before tattie kit rolls out here...... :'(

so looking at the pics, one destoned is planted for two beds of tatties ???

nice pics Marcus :)

If I remember rightly, when using a two row planter like a Grimme GL32B then one de-stoned dreel will the be made into two smaller planted dreels by the planter...... :) :)

if you tried straight lines in that field mate ,the rows would be about 100 meters long at the most as it was a field primarily for the dairy unit ,which has been moved to the other side of the estate.

depending on field conditions the destoner driver will throw the spoil onto the next row for another attempt at breaking down the clods , only when it's good going like this do they aim the stones into the wheel markings  :)

just checking, as they dont look like row crops i've seen, but not sure if they are standardish.....wheres supermart when you need him ??? ??? ??? ??? ::)

Supermart's back now  ;), and going by the look of them I would say they are standard size wheels, comparing them to the size of row crops used on a local New Holland TM140...... :) :)
