Jordan_coe2012
I've not been doing much model wise for a while now and as I bought some wrapped bales off eBay about a year ago I have decided to make a bale trailer to transport them. Not sure what it will be yet just was glad to be doing a bit. I also bought the wheels from cdmodelz 2 weeks ago which made me want to get back on it!! Here's what I've done so far. Not sure yet but I may shorten it I think from what I've worked out is that's it 320mm long which in 1/32nd scale would be a 34ft ish I think and looks a little too long!! Fenside MF
nice build Jordan,I;d say you would be right to shorten the length a tad,I've deffo seen bale trailers hauling 10 round bales sitting on the the bed of the trailer then another single layer of bales stacked on top of those . Jdeere6910
Very nice Jordan, we've a 32 foot flat at home and it looks about that long to be honest
Jordan_coe2012
Thanks for the kind comments lads. Well I've shortened it down tonight so it works out to 29ft now Think it looks much better. I have painted it in blue thinking I might have it as a kane trailer but not sure yet may go green so it will match my grain trailers. I have put rough layer on the hubs and bolts on the wheels and also made a lad for the back to keep the bales on.
Jordan_coe2012
Thank you mark. Put some kane and warning decals on today. Also repainted the wheels hubs and nuts some hoses and a stand which I did after the pics. Here she is loaded up with some bales hooked up to me mf 690. Also think it looks pretty good on the britains ford 7600??
