Anderson Agri
Wet weekend so finally had chance to get some repairs taken care of, starting off with the 802 the power steering pump was leaking into the crankcase as the oil seal had failed. So I bought a seal repair kit and overhauled it. The filter had seen better days 🤣 also got the radiator out of the JCB and washed out hopefully it will not overheat with it cleaned it was pretty clogged up. I also rewired my ifor Williams with led lights ready for Malvern next weekend. Then I moved onto stripping the brakes down on my IH B414 as the left hand side was grabbing and sticking and the right was doing nothing. On further inspection the oil seal on the diff cover had failed so a new one on order as well as a set of new rubber boots for the actuator housing and new brake lining as the left hand side has failed
Anderson Agri
Bit more done today, the JCB had a couple of hoses looking poor so decided to replace found 1 ferrol kinked over which probably is why I've got slow slew power! Radiator now cleaned and put back in the frame new bottom hose made, after I purchased one on eBay that was completely wrong 😡 went to fill it back up with coolant and a core plug popped out! Just my luck I've also swapped the rear wheels on the 285 and 802 over so the 802 has the correct dishes, just needs a bloody good wash now and a service 🤣

Anderson Agri
Not yet, I bought a pair of resistors and they sent me 24v ones instead of 12v ones 🙄 I did however go round to tighten up wheel nuts before Malvern and found the wheel I had a new tyre fitted to a few months ago 2 of the wheel studs was spun in the hub and loose, so my trailers now out and I'll borrow my bosses until I can get a new hub, so not so much pressure on getting the lights finished. Always something but glad I noticed before driving with a tractor on!
Anderson Agri
Productive day today on the 802, getting ready for Abbey Hill Steam Rally next month. Full service, judging by hydraulic filter was a good decision. The strainer filter wasn't even there 🤦 just put an order in with Charnleys for a few bits, brake slave cylinders and rocker gasket to do next as not up to scratch. Then hopefully it'll be good. Dropped the loader off as well to fit to the 262 when I get chance. Hasn't had a wash in probably 12 months, my yard is up high and soon attracts the moss 🤣 looking better now
Anderson Agri
Core plug, radiator replaced and a few hoses changed on the jcb as well nice to have that up and running again. Few jobs still needed but I've missed having it usable bloody handy tool

Anderson Agri
Great weekend at Newby Hall. Just had my bill through used 118l of diesel with pickup/trailer + tractor with a 630 mile round trip I think that's good going! Some lovely tractors good to catch up with a few people although missed a few 😥 Very tempted to return next year
Anderson Agri
Did a deal with a friend for this very nice Browns Cultivator for shows, sold my dowdeswell dp10 to him and took this back. Look forward to using it, even if it was a bit big for ed40 was surprised it lifted it off the trailer
