Paul Palmer Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 would I be right in thinking that buying a britains silage trailer, and by removing all the rivetts that hold the silage sides on,i would be able to remove the silage sides, enabling me to have a grain trailer and silage trailer rather than having to buy both silage and grain versions?
FendtFarmer Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Don’t have the silage one myself but don’t see why it wouldn’t work Paul

844john Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I've not taken one apart Paul, but looking at it I'm certain that drilling the rivets out would let you be able to take the sides on and off like you say
Paul Palmer Posted October 29, 2019 Author Posted October 29, 2019 brilliant John, cost saving then, will let you know how I get on once the trailer arrives
844john Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 It's a good idea actually Paul, looking forward to seeing how you get on.
CX820Joe Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I'd be interested to see how you get on Paul. I know it's very basic but I do like the Kane grain trailer, and must try and get another. I was hoping Britains would do an NC grain trailer as they had produced a lot of other NC implements.
