Scraper tractor overkill?

For a long time, I used to bemoan the lack of small model tractors that would make ideal yard scrapers - I think the closest I came was possibly the Weise Deutz D5206 which I should have kept (seem to say that a lot).  I did stop with the livestock machinery, but never got rid of the scraper Ian (Tabmodels) made me and so thought I would get something to display it on, hence the New Holland T4 I bought last week - which is probably too modern, too 4wd and too wide but there we are.

But earlier was watching a youtube video of a JCB TM loading manure (I know how to live), and in the background noticed a rather large JD 6x20 or 6x30 with a front loader and a scraper attached.  So all the striving for realism may have been for nothing :D

Bobcats seem to be the craze around my area now for scraping. I know off one guy that has a NH T5060 on a scrapper and that is large enough . I can think off 3 Ford 4000s local on scrapper dutys, a Leyland 272, cabbless DB 990 , MF 148 to name a few. My uncle still uses his old 4000 which does the job just fine even tough its on it's second engine due to the common porous issue..
