Just got back from Malvern myself and have been sorting through my photos. I will try not to duplicate any that Paul has put up. I did bump into a couple of people there including Paul the Valley Axeman walking through and clutching his precious half drawbar, as pleased as punch with his find.

There were the usual standard tractors in the auction, some restored and mint and others still with the grass and nettles hanging off them looking as if a good wind would blow then into bits of rust. There were also some real rarities that I will come to shortly.

First up, the auction :

On the way back home I passed this first Ford on the back of a car trailer northbound on the M5

Then one real rarity. Apparently only one of 2 ever made, County Forward Control with only 268 hours on the clock. This was one of the few where I was nearby as it went under the hammer. It was bid up to £18000 but did not sell as there was a reserve on it. Whilst it is rare I struggled to know what a farmer would do with it without massively altering it, self-propelled spreader maybe?

Bit of a cab theme for this lot, the Ford with the Fritzmeir got a few looks, quite a strange cab to UK eyes. I was also wondering about the MF 35 and whether that was an early DB cab

Couple of crawlers and some Deeres. I was looking at the Track Marshall and trying to decide if it was a 70 or a 90, so I walked around the back and it was neither, it was a TM75

Then I went inside the buildings. The telehandler was a Latil Giraffe and I had never heard of one before.

The restored JD was a bit of a talking point and I had read a n article about it before going to the show. The company have done a full nut and bolt Restoration and the finished article came out around £80,000. They were asking why a cost conscious farmer would pay £200,000 for a similar spec new machine when they could get this for far less, it you don't need all the bells and whistles then I would say that they have a point.

Then back outside for some implements, it was getting a bit muddy by this time, I did consider the Same side panels but Mrs R said NO.

Not entirely sure what the yellow thing is, stone separator perhaps?
