Tractorman810
spent a good part of this afternoon fixing the step daughter kitchen lights, after her "professional" builder father insisted it was all my fault they had gone wrong? weird seeing as i never fitted them as the step daughter told him, turns out the "add expletives" had hacked the old ceiling rose off,and taken the new spot lights of in a daisy chain, simple enough except he hadnt used proper circuit block, hes just cut the plastic off the roses brass fittings and basicly left them exposed hanging in the gap between the celing and floor boards above, this now explains why the fuse kept blowing in the fuse box, the occasional smell of burning she was experiancing , and why the switch on the wall sometimes ,as she put it "tingled" her fingers when she used it. bloke needs shooting, and a bigish row blew up between her and him as he still insisted it was all my work? was forced to walk away and bite my tounge, although the wife has sent him a pretty evil text message warning him to keep away.going to be intresting at the meal for the stepdaughters birthday in a week isnt it   ,

Tractorman810
may well have to "work" that day, step daughter fuming with him, given the little one in the house for a start, just smacks of pure ******* to say the least , no reply to the wifes text yet, hes prob a bit scared to be honest given what she sent, afterall, she did have his prize rs2000 cubed at a scrap yard when he left her, along with 2 old bsa bikes as revenge
Deere-est
Best you take some electrical fittings and supplies, Sean. Seems he has run out. Either that or take along an electrical guide for beginners book :ha ha!: :ha ha!: I've had a brilliant day today, was up early due to clock change and out with the dog after getting the woodburner going. Back home for breakfast whilst watching Stobart on catch up, then blitzed through the house work and put some stuff up in the attic. Caulked in the skirting board and cut in the emulsion where it meets the walls. Then got the roast on, beef with all the trimmings. While that was slowly roasting away and filling the house with that lovely smell, I made an apple and blackberry crumble . That was all duly eaten, washed down with a swift Westons, back out with Zia ... Now its invoice time and maybe get a bit of top coat on the skirting Oh and just bagged a blinder on eBay
