3.5 Ton to the acre but know better when last load is weighed

The swards are only 10ft remember

there is a fair crop of it

have you thought about getting a bigger machine then in the future ??? ???

Nice pics, Ricky - I thought you might have been later with wheat as you've had more rain.

nice pics ricky  :) :) never seen anyone strike out on the tramlines on the headland before though , most of us just spuddle about in the gateway then harvest  agaisnt the hedge & bugger about in the corners :D :D :D

Must admit, I put the drive end shedder in a tramline to start, makes life easier  :)

Thats the way most kiwi's do it as well or just go round en round. :)

NA, she's perfect for us,No need to ass about with takin header on/off and with the rain here 10ft sward easy to dry to bale!!

That field came to 3.8 ton to the acre with 66 round bales

Last year it was 3 ton to the acre and 77 round bales.

Though this year i did make the bales a little heavier

You'd be better off loosing the bales to get more if you are selling them  ;)

U mean make them lighter??

NOPE, Customers wouldn't pay money for light bales so they'd sell for less so it'd balence out and also if i made bales lighter then i need to use more net wrap which costs money
