NCC
Found some pics of the new JCB Fastrac 8250 while I'm still waiting to go on holiday It's rumoured to have 248Hp and a 65k top speed. Also think it has a Fendt Vario transmission. ?It looks a nice big tractor, I just hope britains can do it justice :D ;) Nath

NCC
It looks big to me aswell Sean, the size of the boonet and wheels look massive compared tonthe amazone drill behind it, and they aren't that small :o :D
JC
looks enormous at the side of other fastracs. :o
Tractorman810
must be trying to break into the large tractor market with that one,all of the origonal fast tracs have been more mid range after all
NewHolland2
Yeah, it looks bigger than the current Fastrac 3220 etc. The bonnet looks like a cross between a Fendt Vario (900 series) and MB Trac bonnet.
Powerstarâ„¢
Controls look nicely laid out, imagine it in a UH model, would be great stuff

Pingu
i wonder how well that would sell around my way as all the fastracs around here pull lime spreaders nothin else really
Guest Fendt pwr
Same here MF fan, Most jcb tractors I've seen around here are more or less only used for road work with root crop trailers or sprayers. I don't think they will sell very well over here myself.
fenryk
The main use in the Fens is towing Marston type trailers full of root crops as well. Occasionally you see one being used as a proper tractor. We also get to see the odd sprayer conversion and a 3 axle version used by the telephone people. (Que TM810). Pingu
There not to bad in the field but no way as good as a normal concept tractor because at a ploughing match we did a comparison a MF 8240 (the one i know well) against a 3185 both with 6 furrow ploughs the fastrac did an ok job but the MF went quite a bit faster and had a lot less trouble starting or keeping the same pace in a hard patch the Massey absoulutly thrashed the fastrac in daily output due to the MF being able to keep a the pace going in hard patches and at a faster forward speed
Powerstarâ„¢
If any of you have Stephen & Jonathans Tractor Spotting videos, there a Fastrac pulling a trailed forager, doesn't look right atall.

MJB1
Quote from: 1/32 farmer on September 26, 2005, 10:16:17 PM STILL DONT GET STUCK ON WET GRASS !!!!!! spent two hours today pulling a bmw out of the field cause he new better an got STUCK (bmw= bloody minded ******) 1/32farmer mostly pulls BMWs with his fastrac ! :D
Tractorman810
all these comments sum it up really ,a jcb fast trac is really a light off road lorry unit better suited for highways than a tractor, but people seem to buy them, prehaps this is the reason for the new bigger one, actually give it field abillity to
Powerstarâ„¢
Oh my god just went down to get fish and chips and saw a JCB Fastrac 3185 pulling a Ifor Williams cattle trailer, that of what you would see on a landrover.
