Hello MJB1

Yes they are a tractor that is underestemated in our area use to be mainly ford men we have converted them to DB men and they all think it was the right desition to go DB.We have at present 3 DB/case IH 1694s one is our own we are restoring it to use on a krone mower/kuhn the second is my uncles its used daily in all duitys in the contracting bussiness the third is in the yard for a customer getting work done on it.

I have found out were the Commemrative 1694 is and a friend is to get a picture of it for me but i cant tell you any more he does not want any one to no were it is.

BB

The Douglas Taskmaster based on the 1210 is a very scarce machine and has a tourk gearbox with air brakes and weighs about 7 tonnes its top speed is 26mph some of the lighter versions of these can do 40mph the older tugs mainly do over 30 to 40 mph.

It came from a big dealer in england it was supplyed to heattro air port we bought it then its original colour was orange with black wheels we just resprayed it and done the brakes and thats it. ;);D

She looks great DB. I'm not into DB's myself more of an Farmall / International and Nuffield man but I would love to have one of these to pull my tractors to shows if I had the space for it and of course the all important thing... "loads of money" to buy one !!!

Hi Mjbi

Yes a very nice line up the 1494 were a great tractor and still are there fetching big money over here now along with 1390 4wd 1490 4wd 1394 4wd the 1594 are a nice tractor two but id rather the 2wd 1690 do you still have her we have have a 2 2wd 1690s one with the hydra shift gearbox and the other standard the one with the standard box has a different axle on it to make it more stable on the hills when mowing

The axle on it was a 4wd axle used on the early 1210s it was a selene axle we have a 98% restored one of these 1210s now to. ;D ;D
