SPN Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 Hi Bill, Great to have you back on the FTF. Let me be the first to congratulate you on the Puma/T7000 and MX/T8000. Cracking models. The Plow City artic (which you gave us a preview of, back in the day) looks like being an excellent model, and great value. My only crib - and it's a biggie (as a Ford fan), is the fact that the Ford 5000 is a huge let down when compared to the John Deere 4020. Don't get me wrong. The new model has much to commend it, but it is let down massively by a couple of details: The bonnet is too long (the mistake seems to be at the clutch housing - for some strange reason). The mudguards are fixed at an angle. The hitch is totally impractical. The front axle is a disaster. The John Deere 4020 was a major step up in quality. The Ford 5000 is two steps back. But anyway, any sneak previews from you desk to brighten up our days Keep up the good work.
