CX820Joe Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 That is nice! I think I shall have to find space for one of those! Looks like a Gigant rather than a Standard to me too Quote
Mike R Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I was hoping that this one would appear Quote
Tractorman810 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 wonder if they have plans for other makes of vintage combines? recon so mate, would be nice to see a small/mid sized dominator next, thebn maybe a small/mid size early lexion??? Quote
Deerepower Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 recon so mate, would be nice to see a small/mid sized dominator next, thebn maybe a small/mid size early lexion??? a claas senitor would be nice, but I was thinking about something like a M.F. combine as they are doing the older M.F. tractors Quote
Tractorman810 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 yeah it would i must say, personally i recon the claas range will get a doing over first, senitor eh?? is that what came after a matador then?? not into my class Quote
Deerepower Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 came before the dominator range mate Quote
Tractorman810 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 recon thats uh's aim, all the classics up to a nice new lexion or even the new model out, tuscona ?? was it Quote
Deerepower Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 come to think of it the senator range might have been the smaller range to the dominator and was out at the same time \ the new one is tucano Quote
FB Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Here you go Sean, a few Claas models and years ;) Europa - 1958 Columbus - 1958 Matador Gigant - 1961 Matador Standard - 1962 Mercur - 1963 Senator - 1966 Mercator - 1967 Garant - 1967 Comet - 1967 Cosmos - 1967 Consul - 1967 Protector - 1968 Corsar - 1969 Dominator 80 - 1970 then there are more..... Quote
FB Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Mark, Senator was bigger i believe than the Matador but smaller than the Dominator....but not by much \ \ need to scan the page really :D Quote
CX820Joe Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Senator/Mercator should definitely be the next model - if they are planning to release a range of Claas classics - But a Dominator 85 with a cab would be the ideal model for me, they have always been my favourite combine, with Senator a close second! Even better than that there was a Mercury and a Consul at farms in a little village called Haughton which is near the Shrewsbury - Chester railway line...Senators were also very popular around this neck of the woods as well.
