The Northchurch Collection Dispersal Pictures and Results..........

Recommended Posts

Went over to Northchurch near Tring, Hertfordshire to a local scrapman's clearout of pretty much everthing, to include Tractors, Machinery and Plant, with in excess of 600 lots in total. The bloke just collects so much stuff, as although a few bits were entered, most of he kit was his and amazingly enough, he had a sale only 2 or 3 years ago in which he cleared the farm of everything, turn up today to find so much kit! I intend to post up the tractor lots, with a few photos and fewer prices as I wasn't recording really.......... ;)

The Marshall Crawler........ ;)

The MF 95, not the best, hand-painted with poor tyres but lovely tractor........ ;)

The TW-20, which as I said looked like a lot of tractor for ?5000 ish a piece.......... :-\ ;) ;)

Nice nimble yard tractor........ :D;) ;)

The pair of lovely rare original MF 158's, which I unfortunatly didn't see sell......... ;)

Nice big set of chain harrows, which yes, did excite me momenterely! :-\ ::):D

And then there was this beast! A 1982 Cat D10, which I can honestly say I was shocked at when the hammer went down at ?76,000! :o :o :o Really was a beast and was just shocked at the shear size of it. Really regret now not going up and having a go in it, but there looked to be some keen buyers around it at the time, so I just wasnt bold enough unfortunatly. :( But just look at it! :o;) ;)

and........... ;)

Well they're all my photo's, because as ever I went un-equiped, so are phone shots, but they're better than nothing. If you have any questions or need anymore prices, I'll see what I can do. ;):) :)

Numpty ::) Dexta with V8. I think that was in a tractor mag fairly recently wasnt it.

Yes I reckon that warrents one! Dexta it was and a body building one at that! And yes it's a V8 Diesel converted by JW Daniels, completed in 2004. There was also a 6 cylinder Major of the same style, but not as much time spent on it. ;)

Did the dexta sell on the day or was there no intrest, it is a bit quirky.

I honestly don't know, as I didn't see it sell, and really not my sort of thing, so sorry can'thelp you there. However as the Cat proved, some speacialist buyers will travel. ;)
