Been working on this on and off for the past few days when I've felt like it, its based on the Votex 9' pastyre topper, I've used plastruct strip to try and represent the wooden boards that make up the top of it. Still have a couple of little bits left to do, the main thing being the blades but let me know what you think so far :)

Certainly wouldn't be, as graham said they are popular in orchards, the local grower here uses 135/165's on them in his and I believe there is one in the pictures marky posted of his grower's this week :)

Gav i've been thinking of building one of those for ages but never got round to it ::) ::)::)

Was the first machine I used on the farm without Dad's supervision,I topped all the meadows and stackyards etc in the summer holidays with a Ford 6610  :P :P :P

I think I was 14 at the time so 20 years ago now :o :o :o

I checked with Dad and he thinks the one on the farm was 8ft.

Ohh Dad said not to forget to tell you lot that the first day out I only managed an hour or so ??? ??? ???

The belts don't last much longer if you try to cut thistles as thick as your arm ::) ::)::)
