Sunflower Deutz

Recommended Posts

shouldn't this be posted in the "joke of the day" topic??  ::)

The ability to run on Biofuel is a big selling point at the moment - especially on the Continent. This Deutz can run on 100% Biodiesel, as can the latest New Hollands (In 2006 New Holland were only warranting 20% Biodiesel, [url=http://www.biodiesel.newholland.com/UK/Default.aspx]now they are championing 100%!).

With Diesel at ?1.15 at the pumps yesterday, I'm off down to Lidl tonight to stock up on vegetable oil (note: My car has been modified to run on veg. Don't try this with an unmodified engine!)

Looks like this tractor could be trying to be a 'child of the sixties'. Could do with a few pink flowers to finish it off!  ;D  At least it is different from the 'run-of-the-mill ltd editions, just another tractor in another single colour. We've had a 'cow' tractor so why not a sunflower. Be interesting to see what it actually looks like in the 'flesh' and what else comes along.

OK Numpty for me, but I don't think it looks too bad. Better than all of those - a slightly different shade of whatever colour limited edition Fendts! :D :D

Do you really want one??? :D :D :D::)

Are they really desperate though to keep releasing editions like this, it starts to lose its appeal :-\ :-\

Noting all the comments - I remember seeing a photograph of a real tractor painted up with flowers etc.  so there is someone out there doing custom paint jobs on the big boys.  Not sure I woulld want a collection of them. From the manufacturers' point of view t is a good way to make more sales and is called "Marketing".

All the model makers are into changes of livery as it is cheaper than making masters for totally new models.
