i used isopan car body filler the last time, worked ok, i have some some milliput putty which should do the same job, just never got round to using it.

I'd recommend Squadron Green Putty, best filler on the market.  Quick to dry and easy to sand.  Better than Humbrol or any of the others.

If you only have small gaps, you can try the super glue/ baking powder method. Apply super glue to the gap, then spinkle baking powder to the joint, repeat untill the joint is filled then sand level. The beauty of this method is , it's almost intantaneous and you can sand it back within minutes, no waiting hours for filler to set off.

don't you have to mix milliput??

I have some milliput, but seems alot of effort for what i call not a very good filler.  Araldite steel or rocket Max superglue i use
