MODELFARMER Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 humbrol model filler best in business better than the revel stuff - too liquidy Quote
Lexion580 Posted January 12, 2008 Author Posted January 12, 2008 Thanks for some ideas, they arn't masive gaps but will stick out like a sore thumb after some paints put on it. Quote
PDH Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I'd recommend Squadron Green Putty, best filler on the market. Quick to dry and easy to sand. Better than Humbrol or any of the others. Quote
allis8550 Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 If you only have small gaps, you can try the super glue/ baking powder method. Apply super glue to the gap, then spinkle baking powder to the joint, repeat untill the joint is filled then sand level. The beauty of this method is , it's almost intantaneous and you can sand it back within minutes, no waiting hours for filler to set off. Quote
sparrow legs Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 i use excess 2 part glue for small gaps and milliput for bigger gaps, flat areas Quote
