Another carrot harvesting scene observed yesterday after work: These are industrial carrots, they are harvested in a very interesting three phase system: 1st defoliating (with the Schüter on row crop wheels and the Grimme KS3000) defoliator - we call it Kraut-Schläger therefore KS) 2nd topping/"polishing" (with the John Deere 6420 on row crops and the Grimme KP1700 - we call it Kraut-Putzer therefore KP) 3rd harvesting with the Fendt 820 and the Grimme SE150 modified for carrot harvest Allemagne/Germany, region Jülich, 2009-12-04: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
