  6. I breifly helped my mate get some barley straw baled up ,this is his baler ,same model as mine but having trouble with size of row from a 20 foot table ,he/we got just over 400 done and carted before rain set in again ,we got to deliver 1500 bales barly straw if and when weather lets us
  7. Got baler sorted out on monday by Norfolk Agri ,had to wait a long time to get parts ,weather not helping . Anyway got bailing hay again on tuesday and with help from mates we got them home and undercover .
  8. might be classed as special equipment , i believe fairground stuff on trailers can be 90 odd feet long ,allow i could be wrong , might have changed now but i think a tractor can tow 2 30 feet long turntable trailers hooked together unladen , back in the 1970:s we used to ,did 3 once but corners was a problem
  9. Its a D7807c . The person thats bought it stores his stuff on a farm and its the same farm that the tractor was delivered to when new ,so its gone home
  10. Will post some photos up shortly ,nearly got front 2 done been busy on hay and stuff so had to leave them .
  11. Very nice ,i had one a few years back used to spread fertilizer and cut grass with it and sometimes had it on 3m powerharrow ,open them little side windows on doors and you get nice breeze come in cab
  12. right at this moment i cant remember ,its all faded on the bonnet ,i have a note in a book up farm what model it is for when i used to get filters for it ,i will look and come back to you , my mate Eric has had it in his woodyard since 2015 , normally i would change oils and filters around May time but since he had car accident mid April its not been used and he has decided to retire (he is 80 years young) so its been sold on to a good home
  13. The tractor after giving it a wash and taking sawbench off ,reloaded onto lowloader and granddaughter had a bit of practice driving with long trailer while i sat beside her as we delivered tractor last night to its new owner .He is going to just tidy up what needs doing but leave it as is and use on road runs ,once he fixed the brakes 20230715_181249.mp4
  14. As well as wheels there is loads of little jobs to try and get done , supposed to be giving my van a clean as well as 2 tractors , they should be coming out tomorrow to fix baler ,been awaiting parts for 3 weeks , got a conifer hedge to go and hack back with tractor/hedgecutter for next village parish council one evening , my 80 year old mate has now given up his firewood business do to a car crash he had back in april so i am running him about and trying to sort out his equipment so he can sell it on , sold and delivered his Deutz yesterday , yes keeping busy πŸ‘
  15. While it was dry and waiting for paint to dry i took of one skid as it had couple small hole coming in it so cut and welded a plate over it and refitted ,then it rained again ,10mm , very windy at moment but dry

  18. Had them blasted and primed up . I was with my mates other day and asked one about man he use to blast things and another mate said ring this number cant remember his name but he just blasted wheels for me and he is bit closer ,so i rung it and turns out he lives in rented house one field away from my farm ,he seen me cutting grass at back of his last 5 years and did not now me and i had no idea what he did ,small world .

  21. They will all do a good job in the right conditions , but like Phil said if you have limited space go for something smaller , yes a plough would be a contender if trash to bury or chemical still in top few inches and needs putting down 8-10 inches ,all farms need a plough but not all farms have someone that can use them properly
  22. I saw it , not sure if i classed as grown up as i still play with tractors 🀣, can i claim if i am distress by it πŸ˜‚
  23. one of my mates would be driving one harvester and another might have been on trailer work
