  1. Well after much deliberation and contemplation I have finally bought a pick up, a 10 plate L200 Animal in Red. I have only seen it in pictures as I'm away at work. My wife negotiated the deal and bought it really pleased has been a couple of years but finally got one cannot wait to get home and drive it
  2. Tris they are great boots I have had the rigger boots and ankle boots and my current pair the jalarcher they are really comfortable boots. I suppose it is down to the fact that I get them at work that is how I heard of them. Boots are always a bone of contention out here as we spend so much time in them and companies now realize that PPE is important and better quality gear lasts longer.
  3. Tris I have trialed a pair of Jallatte Jalarcher boots. They are without doubt the best boots I have had. WADING in water and chemical all day and crude oil seems to rot most boots and normally get about 6 months out of the these are a year old and still going strong. They have got vibram soles and zipped sides with a velcro cover and they are so comfortable, first time on felt like I had worn them for months. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007HOMORO/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B008PD9RMG&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=0AWZS23MB2KWRQVZ9D4P

  9. Yes getting all too common with the Super Pumas Bond have just purchased 16 S92 which are of the same family as the Black Hawk. Yes this one was blown down and was in good condition but not sure how long they will stay like that, we still have quite a few elm trees.
  10. Well have had a busy time of late had a really enjoyable long weekend in Northern Ireland and have been doing some chainsaw work cutting up a fallen beech tree and a fallen Ash for my day for the next couple of years firewood and splitting the logs by hand. I am back at work now, busy here as well currently preparing for a dive vessel intervention campaign. Luckily no problem with our Helicopters as we do not fly in helicopters from Aberdeen and they are not the EC225's they are the S92.

  19. We always try and use local as well Alistair did us a good deal and came and measured the job himself. No drain on the drive all the falls have been corrected and it drains itself.... onto the road.
  20. We did Bill but our drive is 110m2 so was very pricey for lock block almost double the price of tarring. We had Seivwright Brothers from Cornhill do it. A very good job done started at 7 finished by lunchtime. really clean job and looks great. Good bunch of lads as well.
