  1. And that was just from reading your posts Boss....
  2. God bless the beurocrats... yeah, ruined my childhood getting my fingers caught between the hitch and the cab... scarred for life, mentally and physically... Oh, hold on, no I'm not!
  3. Drenching sheep in the rain... hated that.... we used to run them through the race, treat with a blow fly pour on, through an in-line Formulin foot bath, and we'd drench them as the stood in it... hanging upside down over the rails trying to drench them was ok, but the fumes from the formaldehyde were like being CS gassed [i imagine ] And then when a couple wouldn't run up and I had to get in the race behind to drive them out, they'd scrat and scrabble and kick formulin & sh** into my face... We didn't run many sheep, only a few hundred, so we did them all in one hit.... We don't have sheep anymore
  4. No, he's definitely right.... \ If something is '10' and it improves or increases by 100%, that is 10 + 10, ie double.... 20.... If same thing increases 1000%, that is, as Fruity Nut rightly says, 10 fold, 10 times, it now equals 100.... basic arithmetic.... And I thought Ben was supposed to be an engineer... New hitch looks like it will function as it's supposed to.... Finally Only thing I can't see is why we haven't gone back to the really good older design of Britains hitch... this one seems [at first glance] to have a similar issue to the Siku [& even Ertl] hitch in that it projects quite a long way out.... I know the germans do lots of good things, but we don't need to copy everything.... they invaded Poland but we wouldn't do that would we There's obviously a good reason for it, presumably fewer tooling changes maybe? I dunno... good stuff though RC2, big respect for listening to your customers... I'd give you a gold star if there was one.... How's that?
  5. Here y'are boys, couldn't be closer... http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=52.449053,-1.720262&spn=0.014542,0.037122&t=h&z=15 Jez, no excuse mate!
  6. I have to agree Rob, it's slightly different when it's girls but the principal is the same, I told her she must tell the teacher, she said that people will call her a snitch, I suggested she say 'I'm not a snitch, you're a bully, and I don't have to deal with you, the teachers do'..... One of the kids is a member of the local boxing gym, and Mrs H will have him chucked out if he's a bully, it's one of the things for which a very dim view is taken... So there are options, just feel so helpless... not to mention ANGRY... I don't belt my own kids but I sure as hell would these little SH***!!
  7. Gang was all there weren't they!! So you're a very important man indeed then Al, and probably well placed to actually make some progress with any culture shift in terms of local fair trade, starting with models.... Hopefully we can make a difference...
  8. Sorry Al, I've been left behind somewhere.... I think I know who you are now, if I'm right I think I remember seeing you in CT or something a year or so ago... \ But what TV recording...
  9. Found out our little girl is getting bullied at school, made us very sad but made me F*IN LIVID as well.... I'm pretty shy and retiring normally but when something gets my back up I become rather focussed....I've got the red mist now! Had a long talk with her this evening, she's only 8 and so brave bless her, Daddy's on the case now...
  10. Cryptic.... Waffle.... Speaking in riddles .... this has all the hallmarks of an FTF thread
  11. I should be there, maybe even the whole family, only 10 minutes away from monster in law's....
  12. My god it changes ' w a n n a ' to wanna... Is the Labour government running this spell checker now...?
  13. Yeah!! Don't start on me.... or I'll winkie-wee all over your shoes! [Not yours Aunty Jo ]
  14. Thanks LuvMuffin... COME ON JAMES!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THIS MILLENNIUM?!?!? Click in the adress bar to highlight it, hold down 'CTRL' and press 'C'... then click where you want to paste it and hold down 'CTRL' and press 'V'.... magic [i could have said 'Control'... but on the basis that my old man still refers to that button as and is convinced it's really called - 'SITTRULL' - and he CAN do links, I thought I'd keep it simple ;) ]
  15. It made sense the second time I read that... the first skim read as 'we've got a conundrum machine in our local news agents....'.... WTF I thought?!?! And then I read it properly... and it was less weird... Wouldn't you need to get a 'friend' to help with that...? Or are your legs a lot shorter than I remember
  16. Might need to be more than a tenner mind you Marky... you'll be good for it though won't you...
