  1. It depends on the number produced indeed, and also the desirability of the model. I remember buying my Valtra in bronze, one of 100 made, for about 45 pounds, and when I took it on display to the fair in Zwolle last year, I could have easily sold it for 250 pounds. Or the Fendt Black Beauty's? On the other hand, have a look at the silver edition of the Schuitemaker silage trailer, or some limited models made for the fair in Zwolle, I can still easily get hold of them.
  2. Can't really tell wether the scale is correct, could you make a picture with a 1/32 scale tractor for me?
  3. Which scale did you buy those Snap-On kits? I only see 1/18 and 1/43, neither is 1/32 of course.
  4. This is more like it! Detailed descriptions on how you made certain parts, I will use some of these tips when I start building my dio hopefully this winter. Where did you get all the accessories, like the Snap-On stuff and all that is on those shelves?
  5. Look great indeed! A typical example of a UK machine, you don't see these in Holland anywhere.
  6. There actually is ONE Imber Ford in my collection, a 5640 SLE 4WD.
  7. A few days ago a long awaited parcel arrived, containing some kits from PDC Farmmodels, including this MF 699 kit to keep me busy this autumn. And a friend took this little MF 135 from the HMT-rally in Sevenum, commissioned by TractorConnection.
  8. Another great addition to my collection !!! Britains MF 7480 Limed Edition (limited to 150 pcs, see certificate on the first picture) made by National Minitrac. Such a model suites my collection perfect, it's a Britains model and limited. By the way, I am still looking for a weathered Case, issued for the Spalding 2011 fair, if you have one for sale t a reasonable price, sent me a PM please.
  9. I was really surprised that I was able to buy the limited MF, but fortunately there were some left. The models from the rally are NIB (and very cheap )
  10. Some recent purchases. Bought on FTF, MF 362 and MF Trailer, and also this Valtra Valmet forestry. ROS Landini Super L25 (limited edition 1500 pcs.), BM Valmet 805 with broken cab, and a Fiat 880DT with different rear rims as the one already in my collection. Last weekend I attended an oldtimer-rally in Belgium, near me, and bought this JCB skid steer and the NewHolland TM165 quite cheap! And something special, this MF 7480 Limed finish, limited to just 150 pcs for National Minitrac.
  11. Some new additions. Weise Fendt 818 Vorfuhrschlepper Replicagri Fiat 880DT 2 Nice Britains tractors For conversion, a McCormick MTX175
  12. Today I recieved a parcel containing this great Britains set. Renault 145.14 and Accord Seed Drill. The box is a little damaged, the cellophane has come off, but will be glued back in place, as I will also repair the box slightly. And a few weeks ago I bought this John Deere 8345RT from Britains. Even the box looks collectable. And a few models for modifying, a Fendt 312 by Siku and a Case MXU125. The MF 7480 will be converted into a 6480 using the kit by PDC Farm Models.

Same idea on this site ... I had to order this Vorfuhrschlepper to keep the whole line of these models complete. Must say, it looks nice in these colours. Mine has been pre-ordered and will be delivered in about a week, together with the new Fiat 880DT by Replicagri.
  14. Nice topic, gives you some time to browse in your collection and find just those models with a sparkle. MF 5455 Steepnose build by Jan Lodewijks, the only one in the world with dual wheels (that has to be rare I think ...) Another special model (since I am a Fiatagri-fan) is this Britains Fiat 90-90 DT in brown. I have several other Fiat models as well from Britains. And last but certainly not least, this Britains Deutz DX4.57 conversion on flotation tyres. The cab roof has been sprayed white since this photo has been taken, looks just that much better.
  15. If you would like a sample of some Dutch farms perhaps I could help with that ... but I have to say I think this is a marvelous idea, I will soon start construction of my diorama I hope, and will have to build a farmhouse from scratch.
  16. Just some pictures made on my attic. Boxed models on shelves The shelves are accompanied by two large showcases. Some vintage Britains models Lanz plastic models in 1:22,5 (G scale) from Pola Some recent Britains purchases And some models from other brands All my new additions can be seen on the Dutch LMF, just click here.
  17. Hi Ronald, good to see you here as well.
  18. I tought I recognized these photo's ... there is a true Dutch invasion going on at FTF. Welcome Floris!
  19. Hi Ronald, you also are having a peep on the other side of the North Sea?
  20. As far as I know, we don't have any threads on pre-1970's lead farm figures, although sometimes a member might acquire such items on accident ... If I come across any threads, I will let you know. Claaspower : You have never visited Holland to come to the anual show in Zwolle in Novembre?
  21. Suprisingly I already signed up to FTF 3 years ago, but never spent al lot of time here. Must make up for that in the future ... Collecting Britains for several years now, I have about 350-400 models on the shelves now. Many of my models have remained from my childhood, and more and more have joined them since the collecting-virus took hold of me a few years ago. Some of you may know me from the Dutch version of FTF, the Landbouw Miniaturen Forum, in which I am (heavily) involved as moderator and member of the PR-committee. Also I am the secretary of the new foundation behind the Dutch forum. As mentioned before, I collect Britains Farm models, but also some limited Siku and UH models are on my attic, which is were my collection is stored. I also have attempted some conversions and would still like to create a nice diorama. About myself? I am 31 years old, live in the south of Holland, work on the sales department of a roofing materials wholesale and have a girlfriend for many years now.
  22. There's some amazing POS in this topic I have catalogs from 1979 onwards, a original Powerfarm poster and some adds from the '80s, which where in childrens magazines then.
  23. Recently also bought the JD 8345 RT model from Britains, well worth adding to your collection!
