  13. Tbh beacons on tractors never came into mind apart from local authorities machines or contractors but no it was more a 90s thing a young farmer thing almost boy racery must have cb aerials too Beacons were used mainly for SMVs agri or slow road working vehicles even more so on a duel carrageway if memory serves well i might be wrong though glad ours had a mag mount plate instead of perminant fixed imagine catching them under a tree ploughing headlands
  14. I might be a ih man at heart but i did allot with jd 3050s 3350s and 2850s i might get me one of each coz i do think britains have done them proud
  15. Yep still seems silly britains doing the german ih as replic and shuco do them why britains do not do a british ih is just beyond me
  16. If you find it a challenge no hope for the rest of us john I would just convert a ertl but theres a question that they diddnt adress when they made it Its ment to be a 784 4wd but the grille has the extra layer of squares It should have the 484 584 grille if its 4wd but i think ertl at the time thought 4wd is the way forward shame it would look nice 2wd proper done
  17. They were good to a point yea but replicagri haven't made a doncaster 784 yet unless your ultra tallented and can do them from scratch we all know who can but hes a busy farmer too ild love to see repli or UH do a doncaster tractor but i think it will never happen you can drop on ertl 784s quite easy one for conversions be better than what ertl did back in the day
  18. Ive tried 10 times to get the world wide 74 style bonnet for 2 x ih 250 skids and they look too square ive tried useing a 250 bonnet and adding filler to it to get the right shape got the clay one perfect but it shrunk then cracked so ive been swearing allot coz ive failed to do a 444or 354 374 type tractor from bradford
  19. I think it must ha ve been the cab for the finnish market at the time they also did ih 674s 454s with the older version of sekura square ap luxury cabs David browns too Dunno about massey ferguson 100 series or 500 series having those sekura cabs on though
  20. Wish i had those talents and patience they are all stunning john I seem to remember in a early classic tractor mag there was a blue leyland secura cabbed tractor too mate
