I have had a busy couple of weeks building and just getting back into it after a break. Nothing which hasn't been built before but thought I would share with you all. -
Whats on your workbench???

On my bench are 2 County 1884s, a Roadless 94t, Ford 8210 on fat tyres, 2wd Ford 7710 on narrower tyres and various others. Just don't tell Udi ! -
The front weights are a bit big though, only ones I had at the time.

It was an old low budget brown ford 6600 chassis to start with. I haven't done one for ages. Been out of the building models for a bit and just getting the interest back.

INDUSTRIAL MF 135
1972farming replied to 1972farming's topic in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
I usually get the tractors and see how much original stuff can be left on them. If they are really poor then its not so bad to add loads of repro stuff to them. You can end up with an 80% repro tractor if you are not careful. -

The yellow one is original apart from the decal and exhaust and obviously the cab. Yes ,the grilles could be painted. I have another red one to do so watch this space. The other red one has repro bonnet and wings as well. -

Very nice model, well done. I have just started to dismantle an ertl 3350 and can't decide what to make it into. I have never worked on an ertl john deere before ,are there many pitfalls to look out for ? Cheers -

AN OLD SCHOOL CONVERSION

Thanks chaps, I have got some blues on the go as well. They are all older style conversions as well. -
I haven't built much lately but have just got back into it again. I know its nothing new which hasn't been done before but I thought I would share it with you all.

Jeepers thats a bit steep ! :o

I remember having trouble to get my old bamfords bl58 baler working properly. The wheels used to stop turning when it was towed along so the bales wouldn't come out of the back properly. The new holland 376/377 was better though. I loved the flat eight grab as well.
-
As a youngster I loved my Ford tw20 pulling the new holland 376 baler and sledge. As a collector I love the Fordsons. Its strange because the fordsons are way before my time as toys but they are my favourites now.

I am working as we speak ,through until 8.00 in the morning so I won't be there. I hope you all have a good day,I hope you sellers sell plenty and the buyers get what they want. I also hope you all have safe journeys to and from the show. Maybe I will get there again next year ? \

I agree with super 6 ,I think if it was a new one out of the fastrac set it would have made in china on the bottom. This one is made in england so it should be an old one. \
