  1. Hes a really good freind ,a local farmer .He gives me some ideas for conversions ,as do his 2 sons and I try to make what I can . Back when I made them I sold them for next to nothing .This is the first time anyone else has ever seen them and I,m pleasantly surprised at the response .
  2. Thanks for your kind comments ,the 7710 sprayer was a bit of a fiddle but it looks okay and is robust enough to play with .............meaning my mates 9 and 11 year old sons .!
  3. Glad you like them ,at the time I wouldn't have charged my mate more than ?20 a piece for them !
  4. Hope you all like some of my past creations .I made them all for myself a couple of years ago but ended up selling them to a mate .
  5. Yes I think it could be crescent , I bought it out of a box of odds and ends . In the same box was the scaledown timber trailer I posted last week . Most items were ?3 ,?5 or ?7 in the box and I bought quite a few .
  6. At the time a fiver was a lot of money to me .I only started collecting in 2000 so in 2002 I hadn't started spending big .
  7. I just spotted your picture and it brought back some memories . Back in 2002 my local small toyshop was selling off the big wheeled Ford 5610 for ?5.00 each . I bought 4 and converted them to various things but the sad thing is ,at the time he had about 20 of them at a fiver each !
  8. Yes I bought the Duck Egg boxed E27n in November 2003 at my nearest swapmeet (Malvern) . It cost me ?190 , the most I had ever paid for a tractor at the time . I'm well chuffed though because I have never seen another yet .
  9. Nice collection there , never mind the quality of the photos ,its the quality of whats in thepictures that counts . They look fine to me .
  10. I like the old pink boxes like the one with your military rider .I have a couple myself .My nicer than buying models out of the open counter trays .
  11. The problem would be re-creating the old rubber type plastic used on some of the animals and you can never make them smell old !
  12. I have never seen the Ayrshires at all so its nice to see yours .
  13. Evening to you all . Can anyone out there help me please ? I can't identify this roller I recently bought . It has no makers name at all and looks different to anything I have ever seen before . Its like an old horse drwn one which has been converted to be pulled by a tractor . But its a proper old job ,not a cobbled together affair . I would think it could have been made by an old English company like Crescent or Charbens for instance but who knows ? Its doing my head in ,not knowing .It only cost a fiver so I don't care if its rare or valuable ,I just wpold like to know more .
  14. Yes I agree there .I have recently done a bit of work on a mates UH Claas tractors (aerials, beacons etc) and the detail on the tractors is excellent .
  15. I take it you must collect the older stuff as well the udimore1937 ?
  16. Yes ,I do like the new models and also the 1970s stuff like I had but its the oldest that do it for me . The charm, simplicity and the decoration of the boxes is second to none in my opinion .
  17. About 60 ,mainly pre 1976 Britains but also Corgi,Dinky,Matchbox,Charbens,Benbros and Moko . I did have more but I keep selling a few from time to time when I get the urge to buy some Britains Fordsons .
