  1. Very cool, I can's wait to see more. The detail on the 1/87th models is amazing.
  2. I put my newly purchased snow blade on my lawn mower for a test fit. It was actually used but it looks brand new. Did a little gardening then washed the lawn mower. Now I have to work on a web site I'm building because my computer deleted it after I loaded it onto the internet yesterday.
  3. Finally mowed the lawn. My new airator is cheeply made though and all the metal it bent. Ill have to tinker around making some metal supports for it. I was also pleased to finish one of my Business class' final papers. Ill be nearing the end of my college adventure next fall I think, I am pretty sure I just need one or two more classes. I have to be honest I have never spen so much money on a peice of paper ???
  4. Welcome to the forum James, cant wait to see some pictures of your collection. Like Simon was saying, it is really impossible to leave, iv been logged in for nearly 20 days of my life
  5. Welcome to FTF JD530 Well put Rick, before they know it the board will be over run with us yanks
  6. Corn planting has started. I will hopefully update my display journal later next week. The farms New Holland Bi-directional is still planned to arrive next week. The NH dealer was not able to get us a NH PT haybine to pull with the bi-di in time for first cutting so they will be loaning us a John Deere 1600 MoCo that they just got in on trade. Other than that we should be getting the bulk of our planting finished at the end of the month and we will be getting our two SP disc mowers ready to hit the feild with the NH bi-di.
  7. Here you go CMB. Nothing fancy but it works for now.
  8. Thank you CMB 1) I just wait until there is a really nice day out, then I take a wheel barrel with some wood on top then lay down a small sheet of Styrofoam. Then I just add what ever base I need to work with, usually grass or dirt. It is suppose to be a nice day out tomorrow so if i get out ill snap a few pictures 2) For the grass I use a mat I picked up from a local craft store. Over here in the States we have Michaels or AC Moore craft stores that typically carry it around the Christmas time. For the mud I just used dirt that I left in the sun to dry. I still need to run it through a screen to smooth it out a little bit more. As and update the farms New Holland bi-directional is set to arrive next week. Just in time for hay season at the end of May.
  9. Again I check the weather report, uncover the lawn mower and just as I was going to mow I hear thunder in the distace and I couldnt mow. Later I was working on my air conditioner and my hand sliped and I took a chunk of skin off my finger.
  10. I checked the weather report and it said no rain until 8 PM tonight (Eastern Standard time) so I decided to go out side and plant some plant I picked up today and I get outside and 5 minuets after I get started it start raining.
  11. Well it was a pretty productive day. I am writting up a questionair for future business clients, working on a website and drinking down a pot of coffee. I have neglected to get around to my college work but thats a back burner deal, getting my business off the ground is the priority.
  12. Well the upper section of our garden was grass 2 years ago and we didn't think to put down grub fertilizer so we lost half of our potato crop. Well last year we put down the fertilizer and it was a good harvest. Well long story short the fertilizer was suppose to be guaranteed for two years and we dig the garden today and we see a grub. Well that will put us behind a few days now.
  13. I really like that Case 9380 with disc and crumbler Thanks for the pictures it looks like it was a great show.
  14. How do you till your garden? I know some people use thier lawn mowers with little one bottom plows but we prefeir to use a John Deere 8330
  15. Well I needed to get one for it's yearly maintenance anyways but as it turns out all it needed was charge on the battery. I needed oil for it anyways so my trip to town was not a waste. I have to pick up a snow blade tomorrow from a guy who has a lightly used one for sale really cheep. It even comes with chains for the tires From the picture it looks brand new, the guy says all the parts are there so I am hoping for the best. Even if it is missing parts it is well worth it, only $60 US for everything.
  16. Our riding lawn mower. First time out this season and I make a few passes and it dies on me. I thought it may be the spark plug so I go to town and get a new one well they gave me the wrong one so I had to drive back and get the right one. Get that installed and it still wont run so I think it is the battery now. On top of that no one in town had a oil filter in stock so I can change that now. When it rains it pours I guess.
  17. I put together an aerator and a dump cart for my lawn mower then had to test them out
  18. Thanks for the comments. margerisons: I have not seen any Deutz Fahrs. Agco is not real cooperative from what I understand when it comes to licensing toys so I don't think we will see any in the future.
  19. Went to my Dr's appointment then went to the store for some groceries and then to the home supply store to get a dump cart for my lawn mower.
  20. Same here. I live in New York State so it is usually ready by then. We are getting a week of rain so hopefully it will give it a boost before cutting.
