The 135 and Ford 3000 were the big competitors on release in 71/72 apparently; there's an excellent little article/buyer's guide on the 885 in this month's Tractor & Machinery.

Yesterday a JD 6630 Premium arrived at the farm with a Browns folding grass harrow, all sparkling and new which put our dirty old machinery to shame!

Didn't this have the nickname "snoopy" or am I thinking of an earlier model?

Preparing for manure spreading & veg topping. we borrowed a battered MF20 Industrial for loading the muck.
