  1. i know the one it's at walford cross between Taunton & North Petherton just opposite the massey dealer , it's a young farmers advert thing  ::)  see if i can get a picture later

Ah thanks found it with Street View, in the corner where the a361 and a38 diverge, but obviously not there when the google car passed, so i'm having a nose at the Massey dealers instead (where Deutz tractors, Merlot were once sold?)

  2. Ah yes.... It's out today isn't it.. I've got it in the post (managed to wangle a free subscription).... I've not looked at it yet mind you... I assume part 2 went in... :-\

I've been asked to do a few more as well... which is rather flattering  :P:-[

"Next month we look at other versions of this great model"..  Will this cover things like the MF20 industrial, crawlers & vineyard machines?

  3. Been to a booooooring exhibition today... talking about vegetables and fruit  ::)  grrrreat  ::) :'(

Good news is... I've come back to my desk to find a fair few orders for soil, sand, ballast and compost.. which will keep me going all week next week... and keep the cash rolling in... ahhhh happy days  :P

And not forgetting your smart little series on the MF135 for Tractor & Machinery 8)

  4. brilliant ! just love the speed you do these convo's the chaos created & the finished article with the bad quality picture all suits this down to the ground, great little tractors , more the MF 135 nemisis than the dexta really

    good job mate

The 135 and Ford 3000 were the big competitors on release in 71/72 apparently; there's an excellent little article/buyer's guide on the 885 in this month's Tractor & Machinery.

  5. You just cant help but smile when you read it, its just so earnest and gushing, its almost convinced me to part with over £300 for a £10 model. ;D ;D

Started on £20 as well which is a bit steep for this ???

Perhaps they should stop trying to sell it as if it were Sothebys and just have the photo with "This is a Toy" underneath. Too much to expect from this seller perhaps?
