Stick some bigger tyres on the 6180 and it will look the buisness Double flashing lights are always good too But from what you said about it, it seems a very nice tractor, Dynashift sounds complicated though. About the headlights pointing up, there should be a star headed screw, which you stick a screwdriver in twist it and the headlights move up and down inside. I might be wrong though NC but worth a look.

No I havn't tried it, but most scalextric motors are the same, try an older one out of a Escort or Fiesta. Might be a bit fast, but still, nothing better than getting the bales in quicker

Well on my way now, motor works perfectly, got a new bonnet,wings,cab and everything, just wondering if it had a steering wheel, I know there was no steering rod connected to the wheels due to the battery but i wondered if there was just a steering wheel stuck there to look good? Most of the parts came from a donor 8730, just need to find some TW-35 onnet stickers now, will post some pictures if you chaps want to have a look?

If your on about the Elite JD & Krone, the Krone fits the TS135A perfect thats the tractor i use!

I'm in the process of doing mine up check out the Powerstars Powerfarm thread. I used a piece of tinfoil on the end of a screwdriver to check for any missing contacts, and then found one where the blue switch slides backwards and fowards got a piece of copper and fitted that, WD40'd the whole lot then left the motor running for 10-15 mins, runs sweet as a nut.

Try using a Scalextric motor, instead of the Lego one.
