    two old mfs

it is an IMT, a sheep farmer i used to visit used to have on on a loader , can't remember if he said he swore by them or swore at them seriously , for the money he reckoned they were pretty good & reliable
  4. delivered to a farm this morning , , 3125 on an MF 630 chopper 2 3080's hauling with MF coloured AW trailers & duncan cabbed 298 without the top half of cab on the pit :) oh & a few fords running backwards & forwards with trailers couple of 7740's & a 6610 4wd
  5. my thought precicely mate , seans first pic is a NH ? whats that all about ? ahh i know what it is marky , he's leaving the best till last
  6. funnily enough mike , fords are the absolute last thing you need on the display , we're used to seeing you with the deeres , & the 2640 2wd of course oh & maybe the wide wheeled 5455 as well
  7. RDF , why have the bale elevation supports on the baler if it wasn't going to be attatched to a trailer ? seems like a long way for the bales to fall only to be thrown up to the trailer by hand again ?
  8. the amzone looks well mart , going to see some serious spreading with that in the future i can see marky's right about the masseys though why the white wheels on the fendt ? could be worse marky , he could've had a complete ford - NH lineup :( :)
  9. what made me laugh today ? tris answering his phone with , 'you grow it we'll mow it!' :D :D
  10. far too big mate . but i may have an alternative i just need a 135 though \

  14. Mf 575 with a tarrup trailed forager , two 165's hauling ,one with an MF/weeks trailer the other with a teagle tiger, & an old manitou on the pit fiat 80-90 mowing McCormick & forager & teagle titan
  15. would be a bit big for a 135 marky but may suit it better if it was a 185 like seans done , the centers would need sleeveing to fit the 135 axle as well not far off will , same tyres but from an old britains redland loader
  16. ah a stretched cable on the 1690 then thats usually the problem , till the engine & gearbox warms up, the cable won't pull properly on the shift control. knew of a 14 like that , spend 3 parts of an hour going super slow on the road , then just as you get into the field all gears decide to work & you go tearing off into the distance at light speed only to be told by the boss to slow down a bit \
  17. do you think so rich ? didn't take much notice really , not a bad little tractor i must admit , also had the 3 6180's out , but will have to update the massey pics soon anyway, ever changing line up
  18. hang on a minute, a 1694 was replaced by an 885 ? next time you see mr farmer kick his shins , the mans gone quite mad \
  19. nothing a steam clean & a polish wouldn't sort out nigel
  20. i'd love to know how to get back into 34 in waist jeans \ the resin tips would be great , where to buy from , approx cost to get started ,etc
  21. the first 362h in the pic above has also now had its cab re-furbed
  22. did massey ever build a wonderfull little 595 ?
  23. often see these little chaps with no roof , lost years ago probably , so i have converted one to be a low profile roof version , ideal for the dairy farmer , & a new look for the model cab apart with glass still intact cut the center of the roof out ,so the edges just stands proud of the glass roof looks a bit like this, some fine sandpaper is used to get it all level a replacement roof was cut from an old cassete case glued into place painted with plastikote smoke gray leave to dry & then fit to tractor another view alongsde another 362 with original fitted cab 300 series fleet pic
