  4. the continental hitches are widely used on the err....................continent rich \ :D was it strange to have to use this hitch system ol ?
  5. no mike , it basicaly sieves the soil where the potato's will be planted & moves the stones to oneside, usually into the wheel markings same happened down here john , the farmer now has approx 20 -25 acres of unworkable ground , the soil has packed down solid,to hard to work when its dry & & makes a right mess when it's wet all setaside now
  6. i know weve had this argument before , but we are told not to pull from the top link position for safety reasons, if this is the case why is the continental hitch still so popular ?
  7. these chaps have land all over the place luke , usually taunton side of exmoor , wellington , wiviliscombe & williton area , very big swede growers , handling 1000's of tonns each year

  10. nice peter , fitted with those wheel it looks just like a 6100 i used to drive , we called it pup as it was the smallest tractor we had ! the 2850 was called pop's as it was the oldest
  11. well guys if you have any of the old britains zoo fencing you too can have a bucket like that ! the trac loock well cared for as well , re-sparyed ,or special edition silver ol ?
  12. at least the rear door opens , from what i've heard the britains samson rear door doesn't
  13. nice pic JP can't see what make it is either, toss up between a grimme & a reekie from what i can see, most machines are much of a muchness , the only thing daves model is lacking is a moveable rear conveyor, most conveyors are 4mtrs long , but fold up for transport
  14. have i gone daft ? if ertl already make a 7410 , wouldn't it be easier to just change the decals & maybe the wheels ?

  22. oohhhh marky what a pic , can just feel the sun coming through the glass , & nearly smell the fresh cut grass, big field ,on yer own with the little 135 chugging away nicely , bottle of cold tea in a taunton dryblackthorn bottle ,sanwhich box full of ham sandwhiches & a penguin chocolate bar , cheese & onion crisps in a green packet & the compulsory tin of top-deck shandy...................................ooooooohhhhh i wanna go back :) :)
