  1. once read an article a while back of a farmer , who bought two pick up silage wagons with knackered pick ups. to use as silage trailers , the benifit being able to unload out the back in low buildings , after all ,mad designs all over the place , remember the chap in CT who used the back half of a SP jag690 to power his mowing out fit !
  2. i think marky needs a 135 proper , the 240's etc are all ok , but lack character, go on mate 135 or a 165 will do you down to the ground
  3. well done rich , coming along nicely mate , think the colours you picked will go wel together , but what of the floor? going to concrete it or just leave the axminster ?
  4. PAIR OF [glow=red,2,300]RED[/glow] OVERALL FOR MART PLEASE
  5. thyanks lads i'm quite happy with the look as well , seans have the proper steering sorted , but my patience isn't quite what it should be for this sort of thing , so britains axle is my choice
  6. yeah & get me the 1210 while yer at it :)
  7. fantastic darn she sounds good aggator pulling ! OMG my perfect woman (some members will know what i mean) :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLOIEMhVe9o
  8. no HP required marky , i reckon it's going to be something of the trailed variety & with any luck it'll be red with silver wheels & holds about 7 tons :P re : ( Re: First look at the Massey 3645 - Not yet released !! ) think it's going to get confusing as Massey already have a 36series line up \
  9. the CT issue you want is JUNE 06 ,i know it's here somewhere , but even if i found it , my scanners bust , very good write up
  10. must admit mart this doesn't look too bad , worth asking MASSEY FERGUSON 3090 Autotronic Item Code: W2946 4WD tractor c/w AC cab, pickup drawbar, 3 d/a spools, 16.9 R38 rear tyres @90% good, 13.6 R28 front tyres @ 30% good, Recent new PTO clutch pack & recon cyl head. Good condition Tom 01284 788177 ?5500.00
  11. um. a new pair of self cleaning underpants for barry for when he see's my kids coming towards him :D
  12. know you so well i thought id have a pre-emptive thought :D :D
  13. yeah come on marky we want to see you in CT after you spend yer money on a complete 699 rebuild & refurbishment 699 must be one of the best tractors massey relaesed
  14. just seen seans next convo.........the inline conventional baler in pic 4 :P have you finished it yet sean ?
  15. good job nigel , those britains wheels look so much better than the ertl ones , gives it a bit more realism
  16. forget the 135 410 , marky i reckon you found yer ploughing tractor
  17. why not buy a 410 & a 135 marky , we all know you can afford it :D :D get a nice little ifor williams trailer to put the 135 & plough on & tow it to the poughing matches with the 410 if you read the CT write up about the 410 , it is in all intensive purposes a modified 135, many parts for the 410 are the same parts using part numbers used for the 135, the lads are right though , the 135 will retain it's value , the 410 will depreciate quite quickly & if it lasts as long as a 135 then it'll be nearly 35-40 years before you see it as an investment do the right thing for yer ploughing .get yerself a little DB885 fantastic match ploughing tractors
  18. if it's a local tractor to the dealer mart you may be lucky enough to get hold of the last owner , but to see a tractor that age in that condition gives a good idea as to how it's been looked after , is it an ex-contractors machine you reckon ? i still reckon that 3630 would have been worth a closer look at
  19. considering the cost of feed ,these machines are being pulled out from the back of sheds & nettles to be given a new lease of life as fodder beet is now a cheaper alternative,
  20. axles for both tractors were from either a britains ford 6600 or an MF 595
