  2. there's some tims wheels that are slightly smaller than that sean , but still have the same tread pattern , i was thinking of using them as rears on the combines

    Case 785

yes they do age rather well mart , not often you se a rusty example , of any of these models

    Masseys etc at Sale

surprising what a set of oversize tyres do to the looks of a tractor

    Case 785

nice find mart , but mikes right , if it's contracting your out to do you really need a minimum of 100hp mate the bigger 956 would be the better bet & that big massey has more grunt for the money quote from CT on the 844 also applies to the 785 apparently QUOTE; all the main components are robust & reliable, but let maintainance slip,or buy one in need of repairs & the costs can escalate alarmingly. It is therefore a case of 'buyer beware'as we discover what separates a good used example from a potential wallet emptier march 2005 issue 47

she's on the right wheels ,marky , but with no tread it can be deceiving , we seem to have had this arguement before with the MF82 that luke posted a while back
  7. i think i'll give the chaser a go myself sean , but the headers are a bit more fiddly than i'd like as i still cant get hold of any dremmel cutting blades think i've found all those info books & instruction manuals for you now
  8. blimey novembers issue has only just come to my news agent \
  9. cost is the crap factor here , but i'm sure i've got something in the shed i can utilise , like i do with everything else :D may need to send you 5 760 headers for a modification sean
  10. very much so dan , thats quite a hellish collection you have :)
  11. not really big enough rich , & if i did get any more , they'll be modified into west spreaders

    885xl

if you look at the MF3000 series cab the overall design isn't that different

i think the red MF weights & the dumpy chunky rears finish it off nicely
  14. i expect F-P's getting his magic convo pixies onto it right now ,either that or there's one on the shelf not quite ready for a puplic viewing he's bound to have one somewhere , it's got tracks on it ,he wouldn't be able to stop himself :D :D
  15. i don't know of anything that comes from him that isn't a work of art , got to admit if that was the size you collected , you're collection would be nothing short of amazing
  16. if it wasn't for the plastic mat 'crop' you'd think it was real wouldnt you , :)
  17. ah well thats one purchase i'll be missing , then , now just got to find something to make one with shame, would have looked good on the 1505
  18. does anyone here have one ? if so can you tell me the height of the sides & will a britains MF760 combine unload auger actually reach over the top ?
  19. don't let tris see that . the picture will go soggy \ still see a fair few of them about ,usually for pasture topping
  20. no,no,no,no,no we want a trailed grimme harvester , very rarely see a SP in this part of the country
  21. mark 'eagle eyes' channel strikes again :D
  22. same as smurf , but if i tried to remember them , i'd probably leave out more than i'd write down
  23. i'd have thought all those FX cabs & engine bays would have been a great start to building one of those jas! 1/32 would be good , but it's not such a common site down round our way , , not really seen many around at all
  24. seen a DB 1390 & MF 565 both 2wd handle a 3 f rev before so i dont see why a 4610 couldn't do it , but as said above , you got to have the right ammount of weights & soil conditions , seriously think you'd be pushing yer luck with no weights & heavy clay though \
