  3. they arn't far out really, i have hauled real ones on a lorry before & the boxes fit side by side without going over each side & these are no different on the britains lorry. & i think marky was building them to scale from mesurements from a real one
  4. that looks so much better with different wheels & no loader & it looks bigger , real nice sound to the real ones as well

thats something i used to do when i was waiting for trailers , but it does mean you are putting the spuds over the harvester twice ,at least this way it minimises any brusing , well the ones he's not driving over anyway :D

he isn't , if you look at the other wheel it's the same , he just isn't looking where he's going , any minute soon he'll steer back quick & hit the elevator all to buggery against the truck hauling alongside :D :D

  18. again, another 2wd not seen very often , even more surprising is that it's used for lime spreading ! contractors usually favor 4wd for this type of work
  19. yes but not in the same category as a foraging display you may have already entered . if you have entered a display of foraging in the 90's section your baling pics have to go into another category . does nobody read the rules ?
  20. you havn't put a foraging & baling in the same post have you ?
  21. judging by the hydraulic set up it's a 300 series massey as well as lifting potatoes & parsnips , the standen statesman 2 would go slow enough for onions but alot of the drive gears had to be changed over to do it as we used to grow approx 5 acres of 'japanese reds', once we got so behind with the spuds due to bad wether , the boss got in about 25 students to get them out by hand in the blazing sun \ if i remember rightly they were polsih & one of them was called eva wow was she a good looking girl in her daisy dukes & no knickers ...happy days

there was a write up on these some where ,it may have been another forum, but the upshot is that if damage to the tractor occurs while using these spacers the manufacturer will void the waranty. as for using them in the firstplace i dont see the point ,unless the wheels cant be pulled in narrow enough to cover two rows
  23. the rules do say & as quote "the pictures can depedict a pit or bale outfit but cannot show both in the same category." so effectively phil you can do balers & foragers just not in the same category
  24. damn those spuds look a good sample john, real nice set up as well :)
