  1. are the chassis from the newray trailers not suitable for a lowloader ,once thre box body is removed ? as for the tipper deer-est then im going to be a lazy git & let it be a walking floor , all i have to do is cut the roof off & replace it with an easy sheet oh yeah & buy one first i spose , if i do it won't be a stralis
  2. looking a professional job there ben , as for size you can double it's use for 1/16 as well
  3. that will be outstanding when it's finished 1/32F & when it's finished you'll just need to replace the stralis . just the one or will you be making more ?
  4. HELLISH TM, HELLISH ,& what with deer-eset's shed as well along with markys, smurfs & smallclass' we'd be better off called TBF Toy Barn Forum
  5. yeah , something away from the norm would be good & something worth collecting a ZETOR doesn't sound a bad idea , i once used a 14145 on the hills round totness with a injection unit on a tanker & that zetor went up hill & down dale ,no problem at all, even the county's were having problems \ so a 9045 / 12145 / 14145 with the orange or black duncan cab would be a good option & would stand out more than a run of the mill model
  6. not unless i buy another one mate going to try & save a few pennies to get an ROS 3050 for the cab & floorpan to get my 3680 looking like it should seemed daft putting the 2000 series cab on them & very annoying when it says 'authentic farm toys ' on the box
  7. got to be a 2620 luke as you'd be the only one here to have one that & the fact they're as rare as rocking horse poo to find in any great numbers :)
  8. we're certainly giving the 2000 series a hammering this month eh ? good to see another one saved from the spares pile luke
  9. well done TM well worth the time put into it ,glad the opening door worked out alright , as not many of us are brave enough to tackle something that fine in detail . :)
  10. yeah tey get every where but westfield's motors are starting to look old now ,black & white isn't the ideal colour to try & keep clean \ mind you the parker boys round chillcompton way still got some stunners ,especially like that pearlesent XF that changes colour as it goes by ,,,gimie, gimie? :P :P sent you the big pics of them by e-mail
  11. will have a look at that later mate , the wheelers pic was an opertunist shot , i was waiting for a freind with his new XF , he drives for Merv Way probably seen them , matter of fact his trucks are pretty hard not to see , bright orange tipper artics , 99% of the fleet are volvo fh12's with a few fm's but there is a brace of XF 530's ? running well i was waiting for him then this scania came along & the camera only just set itself in time
  12. tris ,wheelers have got a yard in bridgewater somewhere.
  13. that a hellish looking shed there deer-est very nice ? :) seeing as there's no money in farming you could get a fair few caravans in there for winter storeage ?
  14. aye its a powerfloated cookerhob cp as for the tractor thats my 8210 turbo of a fashion when i last had to build a bunded wall around a fuel tank the HSE bloke said it had to hold at least 50-75% of wasted fuel mind you this was about 10-11 years ago now F-P. but seeing as you work with all this legslation it's all good stuff to know thanks i spect that soon as you receive new rules & reg they've changed before you get to read them you've got to be on the ball to keep up in your sort of work
  15. what fuel tank ,what fuel ,what spillage ? don't know what you're talking about mr palmer it wasn't me i wasn't there where-ever there was \
  16. a blue one retired for a while ? can't it cope with the pace martin ?
  17. as for conventional bales i got about 200 of them, anymore to fill a shed & i scan & clone them on the magic lectrik box for an A4 sheet of them
  18. 600 they are the conventional bales yes ? doesnt balsa wood only come in sheets though marky ? for big square bales the styrafoam insulation board is what i found best , strip the silver paper off, then just cut bale shapes out of them ,this can be done on a bandsaw or a wood saw even a hacksaw will do this & it will give the rough surface effect that is straw to a point my sizes came from the britains lorry body IE : the length of the bale is the width of the body , the height of bale is the height of the cab headboard ,( but there is insulation board this thick to buy already.) & cut to fit 6 bales to fit the length of the body for width , best bit is they are as light as sponge but as rigid as plastic & once you've pushed the pallet forks or bale spike into them you've got the holes there for loading & unloading every time :) as a rule of thumb 3 bales wide should cross 1 bale long approx. the same method for wrapped silage is the same as the sponges, just dip them in a black water paint solution :)
  19. i did try wooden blocks for bales but they were too heavy & the plastic rams on the loaders don't like it to much either
  20. look forward to that martin ,i take it that next seasons colours will be blue ?
  21. hasn't palmers contracting got one ?
  22. look forward to seeing the 8 wheeler F-P, as for the 1/32 they do look right i know but like markys jcb forklift it's a different scale but it fits in ok . thanks for the pics F-P
  23. are you going to stretch the chassis on the yellow 6wheeled scania ? as it looks too short F-P of it to do anything usefull & are they 1/32 ?
