  1. i personally would be looking at ?25 approx but e-bay are all over the place with prices for them saw a good one with no box go for ?35 & others go to the ?100 area i expect DT does cabs for the TW 25 /35 approx a tenner i think.
  2. some real nice kit there cp, :)especialy the fergies with matching trailers though that fork on the jcb looks the part as well :) whats wrong with the 8280 ? i thought it was pretty good for detail considering it wasn't from the farmer plus range, matter of fact i showed a freind a pic of my 8280 & 5455 & at a glance he thought they were real tractors & he's a tractor driver
  3. very nice chuchi, not a 1/64 fan but there is some great detail there & the addition of decals will finish it nicely
  4. well that can't be right ? they've got to be both under sized in that case ,else you'd be damaging the gearbox something terrible & judging by the tyres he'd of \ done enough work to have made the gearbox go bang
  5. you still need the pant over the top of them mind :D
  6. yes it was & yes we'd better :D :D thanks to all for the nice comments & a big thanks to TM who got me started by getting the 2720 decals & for starting his 2wd 2640 else mine would still be in the box in the attic, looking very sorry for it's self as it was in a dire need of modifying .
  7. the one powerstar was in was running in well worn tyres so looks can be deceiving .
  8. shame i'm cak-handed i'd love to get mine looking that good, very nice :) :) :)

  11. yes when i got some pennys i'll be investing in a rubber stamp only ?6.99 for one & it takes about 2-3 weeks to get . when / if i do i'll post them up
  12. it,s just a floor from an old shed at the mo ,& the time i wanted to start it was last sept just as the wether changed so it's still just an old shed floor
  13. aye ? i thought you said they were stamped ? :)
  14. here she is finished . the cab as you know was glassless so i put a plastic sheet through the laminater, cut to shape & size & glued, job done :) this is the last pic is all of them now, at the start of last week i had 3 2680's all in differing condition, left > right? 2640 2wd? > 2680 4wd > 2720 4wd :)
  15. missed this post marky ,good luck with the build , i can't even start mine till summer
  16. metal :o that means the older blue 6600 either had a longer pin than the economy version or the TW 20 had a slightly different axle casting to the newer 5610 maybe
  17. 2 questions 72F why is it silver ? when doing the 2640 covo last night i took the axle from a economy 6600 & went to replace it with a 5610 front 4wd axle but the casting wouldn't go back together ? will the axle casting need fileing down a bit for the axle pin to fit ? as i've done this before years ago & had no problems.
  18. you'd have had to get grey to pull them both out :D do you know the chap well ,& did he offer you a job ?
  19. yeah c'mon 4c, if your 1/32 topline drivers could talk they'd all want DAF XF's :)
  20. if this works out will you try to do the others ? or get a good finish & quit while you're ahead ?
