  1. whippy gate affair indeed as for the wheels on the ford pulling the trailer ,do you mean the pics in this post ? as all the wheels are standard britains ,never got into changing wheels at this stage
  2. nice collection of bales ,bags & pallets kentman & as for the first pic ,those 8 wheeled (4wheeled) trailers never were any good for stacking anything in / on them :)
  3. must bear in mind the britains bales are bigger than the siku ones
  4. was thinking about another 6600bubble cab conve ,but this time with the lift lever still in place & not laky band powered ,would a siku TW5 be a good doner do you think ? as am reluctant to break a britains one for this
  5. the 590 never had big front tyres ,or dual wheel configureation \
  6. unless they changed the bonnet over ,thats a 595 anyway \
  7. yeah , or like in auto trader & the text says "in very good condition before the accident" \ :D
  8. mines the same as TM ,when you're a kid it's a toy to play with, never back then did i think they woud be worth as much as they are now it was just another britains MF tractor ,i was just chuffed to have a 595 & a 590, the decals are very very worn but with a closer look you can still see the numbers 590 :) but with a 4WD front axle & a cassette case built cab it probably is'nt worth anything now anyway :
  9. the pick-up is still on it :D the bucket is from a very old glue together model & it's the only thing that has survived from it , the loadall is now the oldest jcb i have ,but is now without a door for realism .
  10. blimey ?80 that was a steal, still got my white one without box & that will never be sold ,i'll keep it as an investment, if i were to send yo a TW 25 /35 how much would you charge for a county convo without the front weights ,72 ?
  11. so your contingency plan basicly consists of denying it ever happened :D :D
  12. yeah ,why was it abandoned there anyway smurf ?
  13. all fuel tanks have to be bunded to hold at least 1/2 - 3/4 of it's contents here's a pic of mine using the same tank as kentman
  14. v good kentman the size does work in it's favor for a fuel tank , mine is the same but in a bunded stone wall , suggest you do the same before HSE finds you
  15. you cruel & heartless man :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( i'm so distressed, & powerstar will be beside himself with grief :D :D
  16. think thats an ertl thing , annoying isn't it ? especialy as you want to put them away again quickly \
  17. thats the only thing i didn't alow for when i built mine, the hydraulic lever , so it was elasticband powered great for trailer work but not so for implements, but i was only ten ?\
  18. ?in 83 i was 13 so the 6600 was done in 80 -81 in 1980 i did my 1st 4wd conversions with a MF 590 using a fiat front axle (still got ) & a 6600 with the spare TW 20 front axle (missing ?suspected case of sold by brother ?\ )
  19. up in your estimation ?? ?? have neither of you seen my displays posted on the site ? i'll find the links for you if you want me to ? :) thats the only 6600 convo as i ran out of TW's to break :D but you've seen it on the site surly
  20. these must be the first ever pics i took of some of my britains tractors , it was on the top of my dads landing in 1983-84 ? the 5610 was the first of many i bought so it was brand new at the time
