  1. Because the Wiking 1/87th scale stuff is mainly designed to be used with HO scale model railways!
  2. This is probably useless information but goes give an idea of quantities produced for Claas. Went to my local Claas dealer yesterday to order the Claas Liner 3000 in a dealer box. They didn't have one in stock but said y=they could get one. The storeman checked the system and said 'OK we can get you one from Edinburgh, they have two in stock or Germany. They have 1953 in stock'. So there are only two in the UK but an awful lot in Germany. Production run, Claas dealer box, at a guess 2500? Best bit though was the price was ?30-22 + VAT.
  3. Thanks Richie. The h could also stand for Hongwell. I have a few items of theirs somewhere, I'll dig them out and take a look. Would confirm one way or the other. Need to keep my eyes open for one of those Freelanders.
  4. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-BRITAINS-FARM-HAY-BALES-IDEAL-FOR-SCALEXTRIC_W0QQitemZ230231354907QQihZ013QQcategoryZ117196QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem A nice bit of extra profit. Still available in most shops for ?3-99!!
  5. Very nice, I am quite envious. Who makes the Freelander?
  6. The dealer box versions are like hens teeth in the UK. One of these cost me ?30-00 direct from a Zetor dealer on Saturday.
  7. Yep 4 closed in Devon last year when the owner got offered megabucks from a coffee shop chain. Sold out and retired on the profit from the sale of the property. Just done a Google search for Toymaster...it says Toymaster There are hundreds of Toymaster stores around Britain and Ireland. ... Toymaster store. Unfortunately there is not list of their stores, only a store locator and I'm not going to try every UK town just to see See http://www.toymaster.co.uk/
  8. Yes they do. They have a priority because of the quanties they order. Not sure how many toy/model shops are in the Toymaster buying co-operative but it must be a few hundred.
  9. Like you I was also able to pick up the Puma 210 from my local Britains stockist, last September I think. However according to the 'agreement' with CNH they should have only been available from CNH dealers. Not sure is something went wrong or they changed the arrangement regarding this one model. However its definitely been the caset with the NH T7060.
  10. When these items were first released they were only available from CNH dealers. The models Britains are now saying are released will be available from Britains stockists. I had to send a NH T7060 back to RC2 last October as it was badly finished (quality control) and it took them about 2 months to find a replacement. They eventually got one from the CNH parts warehouse in Belgium so it just shows that Britains themselves shipped all the initial relase stock to CNH.
  11. 2008-02-30? You just invented a new day in the year Richard....congratulations!!!
  12. I think you'll find Geoff has commissioned ROS to produce them for him. So they will be ROS models but the moulds and rights etc will be owned by TopTractor.
  13. I will when I'm feeling brave
  14. Tried to do one of mine Sean but the steering arm didn't drop out. Appears to be held in side the chassis by the steering arm. Will try another when I remove them from the boxes.
  15. Its through an Agency...the agency rang me at 11.00am with the same message. I'm complaining, Victor Meldrew has nothing on me today........
  16. I turned up on Thursday to start my temp job. There was another guy starting and working on the same basis as me. Got immediately told they were in a mess and behind, accounting year end is coming up and need to sort things out. Role would be on-going. So I worked my what-its off Thursday and Friday, sorted out a huge amount of errors and started to get things straight. Then this morning at 8 am I got a text message from the accountant to say no need to come in again, they?ve had a review of the situation over the weekend and there isn?t enough work to keep me busy and they have little budget left. You can imagine what I said and I?m still fuming??????unprofessional or what > GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  17. Whatever makes you happy.....what variety of mushrooms are they, the organic ones?
  18. I got offered a job, start tomorrow! Only working as a temp so don't know how long it will last but after 6 months of looking and applying at least its money coming in. I'll be working in the Accounts Department. The even better part is that the company I'll be working for is called Riverford Organic Vegetables website http://www.riverford.co.uk/ so it looks as if I'm joining the fruit and veg brigade Be interesting to see what machinery is on site and what visits.
  19. Rare Britains always make good money and this is one of the rarer items. I'd value it at around ?700 to ?750.
  20. The reference number of the dealer version is MUH2740
  21. I've ordered one from TT and hopefully two on the way from the local MF dealer (ordered before Christmas). I'll also be buying 3 or 4 of the standard box versions.
