  1. Look forward to seeing the 1/16 Valmet 502 :o
  2. Might have to get one of those, even if it is just for the loader :)
  3. Definitely a convo, nicely done though
  4. I'm pretty sure they were Hara cabs but would have to check
  5. We had a pedal tractor at home for years and it was definitely styled like a 100 series massey
  6. Will do Stan, thanks. Hoping to go to Leo's show in the Woodlands anyway so I could get it off him then.
  7. Evergreen No. 294 3.2mm/0.125" angle, 4 lengths Evergreen No. 294 4.0mm/0.156" angle, 2 lenghts Can you get this particular stuff anywwhere Stan? If I was back again I would use PLASTRUCT , much easier to get hold of on the net but they use a different system of sizes
  8. Picked it up in Smyths on Jervis St. in Dublin last Christmas twelve months, ?2.99 ;D
  9. Thanks Garret. The 'wagon roof' is a tough one to do, maybe I should have started with an A-frame, but the real thing is right outside my back door, and I wanted my shed to look as realistic as possible, so its handy for taking measurements.
  10. Great topic Jez, love the shed and all the workshop details
  11. Still not gotten over that then eh Stan? :D Never mind, I still haven't gotten over the switch from Ford to New Holland!!!
  12. Thanks for those links Ben. However Cheshire Models want ?8.25 to post ?9 worth of stuff to Ireland, so I'd rather wait than pay that kind of money. I haven't heard of the other crowd before, but they don't have an online ordering system so i'll have to ring them to see what the story is. Its not a big deal anyway as I have several other projects to be getting on with.
  13. Yep, its a headland spreading kit. Its main purpose is to maintain an even spread right up to the ditch where you cant overlap like you would in the middle of the field
  14. Oh they're an important reference, but then we wouldn't want to upset some people would we?
  15. I missed this topic first time round too. I have to say John you did some job on her, must be nice to drive a classic tractor that lokks and feels like new
  16. More: That's all for nowfolks, unfortunately I am held up again because I have run out of materials. Theres a few more photos where they came from so feel free to have a root around my Photobucket account: http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s151/microengineer/?albumview=link
  17. By popular demand (by Ben :D) I have taken a few photos of the current state of construction of my 4 span shed. This shed is based on the one in our home yard but with an extra span and a 'lattice beam' in one span for better accesss. All the mainframe 'steelwork' is made from plastic profile from Evergreen Scale Models, an american equivalent of Plastruct. Unfortunately this is very difficult to find without ordering it from America. The only reason I started using it is because I got it in a model shop, but unfortunately they dont keep a large enough stock of it. The walls are balsa wood sanded to roughen them then airbrushed to give a rough plastered effect. The floor is just railway modelling ballast stuck down with PVA glue, and painted over inside the shed to give a concrete effect, though it came out a bit too rough \.
  18. Here's the spec sheet for the real Vaderstad drill. Does anyone know if the model is of the 600C or 800C? http://www.vaderstad.com/files/web/document/RDAS_800_Engelska_20041228100958.pdf I'd have to agree with Ben and Mark on the Grimme, it definitely looks 1/32.
  19. Loosely attached detail parts are common enough on UH from what I have seen. Not really something to get upset about though as they are usually easily glued back into place with a small amount of superglue
  20. That's rich from you, you're it's biggest fan!! :D
