  1. If you want a real bell-and-whistles one you could wait for the new one due out from Agrar-Toy: http://www.toptractor.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=34
  2. Well done on try ing to apply cnc technology to farm models! However, would it not be easier to make wheels on a lathe rather than a mill?
  3. Interesting that about the Z-bar linkage Nigel, i hadn't actually thought about that before. On the subject of horizontal rams, it is possible to get a single-acting ram with an in-built return spring so as not to need a double-acting set-up, or use an external spring to push back in the ram. This kind of system is common on trailer brake systems, especially home made ones
  4. Exactly my thoughts, you cant load a muckspreader with a buckrake, or a mixer wagon or handle potato boxes in the case of our contractor
  5. Oh ya, its pretty extreme alright, but sure its all in a day's work!! :D
  6. I see one on the field and a few around the trailer ??? That's pretty normal in my book
  7. Never said there was anything wrong with them, just a bit small that's all. Limited enough market for that stuff in the east or midlands.
  8. Dont beat yourself up man that is excellent. I wish my first go was half as good as that.
  9. That's what they though about the Doe, turned out they needed a whole new tooling!
  10. I'd say he's going west with that kind of stuff \
  11. It's a TD95D, it says strawberry grower's special but essentially its a high clearance version for any horticultural applications
  12. Short enough on time as it is ;) I did include the link to the album if it bothers you
  13. Just a selection of photos I took at the Ploughing a few weeks back. Theres too many to put them all up here so you can see the rest at: http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s151/microengineer/Ploughing07/?start=all This is our own 7600, borrowed by a neighbour
  14. Take the bag out of your vacuum cleaner, hoover them up, split the hoover again and voila! you've gathered them up.
  15. Never said you had to BE delicate with them, I said they ARE delicate. If you want to smash them up just getting them out of the box after paying for them that's your own business ;D
  16. The best way to open the end flaps on the box without tearing them is to slide something thin like a knife in vertically from the top or bottom just at the corner and gently prise it out. Otherwise the way the flaps are designed to interlock means there is a pretty good chance of tearing the endflap it you just pull on it like jas did in the video. I like to keep all the packaging in as good condition when opening the boxes, so I always unwind the wires carefully with a pliers and store them in the box along with the little plastic things they are threaded through. I find that it doesn't take that long to remove the model carefully, certainly in comparison to how long you are going to have it sitting on your shelf!! UH models can be difficult though because they are so delicate.
  17. Apparently a second genuine SQ cabbed 1884 came to light in the last year or two, and also there are a few knocking around with retro-fitted SQ cabs, so maybe Britains weren't that far off the mark. It would have been nicer with a proper Q roof alright, but you can see why Britains didnt do it that way, they already had the SQ cab and roof to fit that chassis
  18. Anyone know when this is due out and if it will be general release?
  19. The headlight position in the grille is different alright, but other than that it just wants shortening back where the split in the bonnet side panel is. Oh, and the wheels changed if you want to be pedantic, anyone have any suggestions for replacements?
  20. Shorten to a 110-90 I'd say :P
